    GLP-1 Feelings - Day 3!

That's incredible! Congrats on kicking the soda habit! It really is like having a new brain, isn't it?

    GLP-1 Feelings - Day 3!

That's a good point about hydration, Peptide_Set619. I've been trying to drink more water, but electrolytes are something I hadn't really considered. Thanks!

Upped to 1.7... side effects 😫

I had some nausea, but now I'm just tired. I am also SO COLD. I'm going to check my iron levels, thanks Jules_1999 and WellGuy!

    Goal weight smashing!

That's a great achievement! It's encouraging to hear success stories. Someone I know went from about 220 lbs to 150 lbs in a year using sema initially, then switched to tirzepatide, and even stacked them for a couple of months. They're planning to stay on the medication long-term!

    GLP-1 Feelings - Day 3!

Okay, I'm on day three and I think it's doing something. My cravings are noticeably less intense, and I feel satisfied with smaller portions. Maybe it's a placebo, but I'm happy so far. Still on 1mg and plan to stay there for a couple more weeks.

Upped to 1.7... side effects 😫

Thanks for the tip I will look into that. I really don't want to go back down to 1.0 since the cravings came back.

    Food noise still loud?

Same thing happened to me on semaglutide - took the edge off hunger but the constant thinking about food just wouldn't stop. Made the switch to tirzepatide and it actually killed that craving noise. Still gotta work through the emotional side of eating, but that's way more doable when you're not...

Upped to 1.7... side effects 😫

Just bumped up to 1.7mg about a month ago after being on 1.0mg. Haven't really seen much movement on the scale since then, but I'm definitely feeling it – queasiness, cramps, and super tired. Didn't really have any problems on the lower doses (.25 to 1.0). I was losing pretty consistently on...

    Reta kinda... disappeared?

I saw someone recommend a brand called Hospira for bac water. Apparently, some of the stuff on Amazon has too high of a pH. I'd double-check that.

    Hunger & Cravings Coming Back?!

Not really LabBetter, just trying to be mindful of portion sizes. It's tough though!

Did you take off the rubber stopper, Reese? Your refrigerator is now contaminated...

    Hunger & Cravings Coming Back?!

I'm on 2.4mg and six months in, my hunger is increasing, and I'm craving junk food too.

    Reta kinda... disappeared?

I think I saw this exact same post on another site! Anyway, I'm curious to know the answers to everyone's questions. Can you post pictures, Reese?

    Reta kinda... disappeared?

Do you mean 0.3 *ml* of water? I think you'd need at least 3ml of bac water.

GLP-1 Med Prices: Bait & Switch?

From what I've been reading, the oral semaglutide might be way more affordable than the injectables. Word is, it could be around $150, making it much more accessible. Some folks are hesitant about injections, so the pill might be a good option for them.

GLP-1 Med Prices: Bait & Switch?

Insurance companies typically have a 5% profit margin, whereas pharmaceutical companies are closer to 15%. The problem of not knowing costs rests with the hospitals more than the insurers, IMO.

GLP-1 Med Prices: Bait & Switch?

Drug companies usually make back the cost of a drug in the first year and then get 20 years of exclusivity. The pens probably cost more to make than the medicine itself. So, yeah, the markup is likely excessive. It all comes down to greed.

    Is it just me, or...

I totally get that whole body dysmorphia thing. It's like your brain just can't keep up with what's actually happening to your body. I've dropped about 40lbs in the last few months, and I'm still finding new things to criticize when I look in the mirror. It's a real mind game!
