    Reta messing with your sleep?

Do struggle with sleep myself, though I chalk it up to depression and ptsd layered on top of being neurodivergent already. Definitely going to look into that though! Really appreciate the kind words too.

    Sema @ 4 months - 20+ lbs gone!

Thanks! Seems like we're on a similar page. I've been lifting and working out several times a week, three to five, for going on a year and a half now. Definitely helps keep the peri and menopause symptoms in check.

My clothes are too big now!

Mostly secondhand shops and yard sales for me. Since I know my size keeps shifting, I'm avoiding pricier new clothes for now. Though I did splurge on fresh underwear, a couple bras, and a swimsuit!

25 with chronic food noise. planning to take mounjaro/reta - should i?

Been meaning to share this. Always had food noise mostly under control, maybe 80 percent, but that remaining 20 percent still had me overeating. Also stayed hungry constantly even right after finishing a full meal. Chalked it up to stress eating, since I've been under serious pressure for as...

Hang in there, it gets better!

Coming up on three-plus years now on wegovy, zero regrets to report. Would recommend it without hesitation to anyone weighing a GLP-1. Down about 80 pounds, and life's genuinely so much better these days.

Low T dose + GLP's: good or bad?

My testosterone provider, yes, actually talked me into starting tirzepatide in the first place. Though he has no idea I've since moved to sourcing it through unofficial channels. My regular primary care doctor, no idea either.

Tirz insomnia--is it what's added to it?

Wake up constantly too. Take three tablets of magnesium glycinate and falling asleep isn't the issue, staying asleep is. Fair warning though, also on a couple other medications that might be making things worse.

    Finally normal labs!

Thank you! Honestly so proud of how the bloodwork turned out. Feels like proof something's finally going right.

    Down 26, feelin' good!

Dang, look at you! So much happier in that second photo, even the way you're standing feels taller. Really glad your health's come along with all of it too. Well done.

    10 months on GLP-1s - My update!

Congrats on everything so far, 20 kilos is genuinely impressive, betting real changes in body composition are already showing.

I'm feeling tired all the time. Will it eventually get better?

Just started the 1.7 dose. Noticed feeling more tired plus a bit queasy for roughly two or three days right after bumping up. Eventually fades out though, and then things stay fine through the following shots.

    Booze on GLP-1s?

Drink normally across the board honestly, wine, beer, spirits, whatever's available. Just have to test personal tolerance since everyone reacts differently. Never actually heard of that particular drink measurement before, new one for me.

    GLP-1 Meal Ideas?

the themed bowl format is one of the better GLP-1 meal structures because each component scales independently - when appetite is suppressed you skip the rice or reduce the protein portion, and when you can eat more you fill the bowl normally. the sauce-over-everything structure also makes...

    Almost there!

The psoriasis improvement alongside the weight-related metabolic changes is consistent with GLP-1's anti-inflammatory mechanism - the cytokine pathway modulation that reduces metabolic inflammation also affects autoimmune skin conditions for some people. It's not a listed indication but it's a...

    Tirz... Less effective? Anyone else?

the batch-to-batch variation in active compound concentration is the most common explanation for 'suddenly less effective at the same dose' - the labeled content and the actual content can drift based on production consistency. tracking your response over time by lot is the most useful way to...

    PCOS weight loss win!

PCOS and these meds really do feel like they were made for each other for some of us. the combination of the metabolic piece and the hunger piece addresses things that were always working against us. congrats on the win - and yes, get the people around you on board with their own health too

Air bubbles in your shot, ugh?

The viscosity of reconstituted NAD+ makes bubbles harder to dislodge than with standard peptides - tapping the side of the syringe rather than flicking the top tends to work better for viscous solutions. Letting the syringe sit at a slight angle with the plunger up for a minute allows bubbles to...

    Finally Starting Tirzepatide!

the travel timing makes it interesting to track what's actually tirz and what's the environment. camp food at that cadence is going to look different from home eating anyway. three square meals with rice and protein is actually not a bad setup for the adjustment period. how's appetite comparing...

Life After GLP-1s - Anyone Else?

The two-meal approach makes sense in maintenance - a larger meal midday and a lighter one in early evening works with how digestion slows, and ending eating earlier gives better sleep. The GLP-1 effect on gastric emptying persists at lower maintenance doses.

    Almost at my goal!

Oh the joints thing - this doesn't get talked about enough. Mounjaro basically gave me my mobility back. 50 lbs in looks and feels like way more because the inflammation drops with it. Keep going, still a long way to go but you're already living differently.
