They cost way too much! I read that it only costs about $5 to make a box of Ozempic ready to sell. If they're selling it for around $1,000, that's a 19,900% profit! What else has that kind of markup? It's awful to do that with medicine.
For anyone feeling discouraged, remember that some people are 'slow responders.' I read a post where someone didn't see results from similar medication for almost 3 months! But they stuck with it and now they're losing consistently. Don't give up hope! It might just take longer for your body to...
That's terrible. I'm sorry to hear that. The cost of healthcare is truly ridiculous. I really hope generics are available quickly for diabetics AND people struggling with obesity, for whom these drugs are truly life changing.
Targeted fat loss isn't really a thing. Some of us just have stubborn areas that lose fat last. I tend to accumulate fat around my midsection first. Your arms *will* get smaller, just be patient.
Thanks! I can relate to that milestone feeling. Used to be the chubby kid, then got in shape, and COVID kinda wrecked it... so happy to be getting back on track.
FYI, if you're still having constipation, some people find that sugar-free candy will get things moving again. Sugar alcohols are known to have a laxative effect and some other sugar substitutes act similarly.
It's wild. I still need to drop about 55 pounds before my BMI isn't considered obese. I'm pretty sure I've got body dysmorphia. I started on semaglutide back in March and I'm down around 65 pounds.
It's possible that next shot will make it worse. I had a really bad bout of diarrhea that made me faint and crack my head on the sink. I ended up calling 911. I had a virus on top of it. But since I never had that kind of thing happen to me before turning 50, I think the Zepbound played a part.
KEEP GOING! The exhaustion and sickness nearly conquered me when increasing dosages, but check me out! A trip around the sun, zero adverse effects, and consistent monthly fat loss!
I've been seeing chatter about people staying on a dose until they plateau...like Lean_Set. Is that what most people are doing? Like staying on 0.5mg for a month or two?
