I'm on my fourth 2.5mg shot, and I've barely had any side effects – some mild nausea on shot days and a little constipation. I am wondering: should I increase to 5mg after this one?
I did a different titration schedule. I did 2mg for a couple of weeks, 4mg for three weeks, and then bumped up to 6mg last Monday. I've lost about 20 pounds so far! I can still eat, but I don't really want to.
I don't like fasting worrying about low blood sugar etc. I think small healthy food choices spread out throughout the day is better. Aiming for 1-2 pounds a week weight loss seems good.
I'm just starting this journey, and I'm curious. For those of you who've lost significant weight, like TrimReady and PeptidePro, did you also incorporate weight training, or was it mostly diet and the medication?
I know I could have worn anything at any size, but now I feel like I can, you know? It's like I'm finally comfortable. Even if it's not like I've morphed into someone completely different. Just enough to feel good, finally. 🙌
This is scaring me! I've been on 5mg for a year with minimal nausea, and I've lost weight consistently until recently. I'm close to my goal and was going to ask about 7.5mg, but not if the side effects are this bad. I hope you feel better soon!
Are you certain it's the medication and not just a bug? I got slammed with a stomach virus last week out of nowhere! I am on Mounjaro, but sometimes general illness just happens. Also, I just bumped from 5mg to 7.5mg, and so far, so good. Fingers crossed!
I wouldn't say I enjoy it, but it doesn't freak me out as much anymore. It used to take me almost an hour to get the nerve to actually inject. Now I just poke and go!
Oh, so it's not really a pen, but an auto-injector for syringes. Got it. I'm not familiar with those. Some pens have needles you supposedly can't even see.
I used to be terrified of needles but I'm getting over it. I hope someone has an answer for you!
