Don't get discouraged by the stall! I've been on this since February and dropped from 240 to 182 in that time. It's a journey, and plateaus happen. Just keep making good choices!
Plateaus are really common around that 6-8 week mark. Your body is catching up after that initial loss, so don't freak out. Adding a protein shake is a good call, especially if you're not eating much earlier in the day. You might need to kinda force yourself to eat a bit more actual food though...
I completely agree with keeping up with progress photos.
It's so easy to get discouraged day-to-day, but looking back it's easier to see the changes. Even smallish progress is still progress!
So happy for you, Jamie1988! I'm on 2mg of a GLP-1. I actually bought an exercise bike a bit ago and I'm trying to get into a routine. Your progress is definitely motivating me to start!
I hit the 50-pound mark after about seven months myself. Felt incredible. My BMI went from like 35 down to 27. I'm still working towards my goal, but it's definitely progress!
That's amazing. Great job!! You look terrific 😍
I'm starting Mounjaro today, and these posts are calming my nerves a bit (mostly about any side effects). I hope I can post something similar in a year.
I agree with Ant_Road, Janoshik is a reliable but expensive option. I've considered it myself, especially after seeing some questionable results floating around. It's a worthwhile investment for peace of mind, especially with unfamiliar sources.
I picked up these vials during the late October promo. Haven't started experimenting yet. Currently on a Tirz/Cagri cocktail, but I'm debating whether to pause GLP-1s entirely for maybe 7-9 weeks, or just switch from Tirz to Reta.
To answer your earlier questions, I was overweight for a long time, but not diabetic. My cholesterol was a little high, but nothing too major. And I'm under 40, never been pregnant either. I did eat a pretty low-fiber diet, though.
