I worry about waiting too long to release retatrutide, considering the rapid development of potentially more effective drugs. Bioglutide, for example, is a quadruple-receptor agonist in Phase 2 trials as both an oral and combined formulation...
I agree with Jamie09. They're making a killing on tirzepatide and don't want to cut into their profits until they're fully ready to launch retatrutide. And that CEO really needs to get the pronunciation right (Reht a TRU' Tied, as suggested by PurePal).
I was on Ozempic a few years ago for around half a year but my insurance stopped covering it, and I couldn't pay out of pocket. One thing I should have done was research which vitamins and minerals I needed. Eating badly depleted my vitamins and eating less made it worse.
I think some of the bad...
I went from 270lbs to 170lbs and the change in how people treat me is HUGE. It's honestly kind of depressing. I'm still the same person, so why wasn't I worthy of basic respect before? Plus, I'm not always thrilled with the attention I get from guys now.
That's a smart approach, LongIslandLoz. Small, sustainable changes are key. I've been focusing on getting more fiber in my diet, and it's made a big difference in my blood sugar control.
It's such a different experience this time around. Instead of obsessing over every calorie, the focus is shifting to just feeling good and having more energy. I saw someone else mention this:
... and yes! Exactly that!
I recently read about a guy who went from a size 3XLT to a regular 2XL on sema. He said he still has a ways to go, but it's cool to see the medication helping people reach their goals! It's also great when people are able to focus less on their weight.
Definitely talk to your doctor about your health concerns and see if semaglutide is right for you. They can assess your specific situation and make the best recommendation.
