    Burping non-stop!

Following up on the constipation thing from FitFam's post -- if things get really bad, don't be afraid to use an enema. Having a couple on hand is a good idea. Also, a daily dose of Miralax keeps things moving for me.

    GLP-1s and Food Waste? Tips?

I'm eating more prepared stuff now, like single-serving yogurts and egg whites plus those frozen veggie burgers that come in packs of four. And huge packs of protein shakes from Costco. Even though I'm eating more processed foods, my labs are way better than when I only bought fresh food.

    Week 1 on GLP-1 - anyone else?

I'm a month in. Started with the 0.25 shot and switched to the 4mg pill. Around day 4 after the shot, I'd start feeling hungrier. But it was still a lot less than before starting the medication, so I could manage my portions and keep from overeating.

    Burping non-stop!

Gas-X is really effective. I usually opt for the chewable and they taste pretty good.

    Trouble with refillable injection pens?

I've had something similar happen. I think I hit a vein or didn't inject deep enough. Now I inject further out and pinch up some fat. So far so good! Be careful!

    Trouble with refillable injection pens?

Sharing what I've learned: oils are a little more annoying to work with than water, but worth it. I ordered some pens, and they arrived quickly. The first time I used them, I waited 30 seconds, but there was still oil coming out. I used to warm the vials to help the oil pull into the syringe. It...

    Trouble with refillable injection pens?

My hormones are in grapeseed oil, which is why I want pens. (They are prescribed and come suspended.) My peptides can come along for the ride. Does the oil matter when choosing a pen? I'm guessing it'll just take longer for the spring to push the dose? I use the same syringes for peptides and my...

    Trouble with refillable injection pens?

I guess my last post was goofy. It didn't work right. But it goes to show how much things have changed!

    Reta - Week 2 thoughts?

I'm on 160mg TRT/week, 4mg Reta twice a week, and 4iu HGH a few hours after my last meal at night.

    Reta - Week 2 thoughts?

I went from 2iu to 4iu and I'm staying there! Get your IGF-1 tested before you start. Honestly, get a full blood panel, including A1C. They'll run those tests before TRT anyway, except for the IGF-1. After you find a steady dose, check your IGF-1 again in a month or so. Also, get a CGM or...

    Reta noob - dosing questions

I think it's worth exploring multiple times per week if sides are an issue. This really allows you to titrate up slower and see what is happening. It's not one size fits all.

    Reta - Week 2 thoughts?

I'm 45, male, started at 255, now 211, body fat around 15.5%. Didn't get my starting body fat, but it was like low 20s. Most accurate reading was in October at 233lbs and 17.7% body fat.

    Reta - Week 2 thoughts?

Working out and protein are key. I had a decent build from back in the day. Down almost 45lbs since early Sept. Been on TRT for a few years, but wasn't working out. Started Reta at 500mcg every other day, now I'm at 4mg twice a week. It's been amazing for me.
