    Weight Coming Back After GLP-1s?

My husband quit a few weeks ago because of side effects, and he says he's super hungry in the mornings. It's obvious he's eating way more now than when he was on the medication, so weight gain is pretty much guaranteed unless something changes. I'm lucky to have only minor side effects that I...

Wow, almost a year on the magic juice!

Thanks for the honesty! I'm only a couple months in and feeling discouraged by the side effects. Knowing it can still work even with feeling cruddy is helpful.

Amazing accomplishment! Trying to lose more, or are you happy where you are? I'm the same height, and not sure what weight I want to reach.

For those of you just starting out, plateaus are totally normal. As my doctor says, they are just "body recalibration weeks."

    Name brand blues?!

I think it depends if it's suppressing your hunger...and if you're making healthy choices. I'm on a maintenance dose and still have to track calories. The med helps, but it's not magic.

    Name brand blues?!

Ugh, I've been there. Eating a lot on shot day or the night before is a terrible move! I'm so hungry on day 7 of Mounjaro, I always regret it.

Half a year down, maintaining! 🎉

Sure! I started at the usual low dose and slowly titrated up every 4 weeks, based on how I was feeling and my weight loss. I ultimately settled on a dose that was sufficient to curb my appetite without causing too many side effects. Now I'm on a maintenance dose, which is a little lower. I hope...

Half a year down, maintaining! 🎉

I barely recall the last time someone snapped a pic of me where my biggest worry wasn't how my clothes fit - lol! I think I could still drop another 5-6 pounds if I really pushed it, but I'm not about to starve myself! I've shed about 48 pounds since last spring. Now comes the real challenge...

    Real World GLP-1 Results?

Compounded semaglutide has been an option, but I've also seen reports of the FDA cracking down on some compounding pharmacies in the US. Something to keep in mind.

    Real World GLP-1 Results?

Even though folks didn't stick to the meds or follow the dose increases perfectly, they still lost a decent amount of weight—pretty similar to what the drug studies showed. So, it seems like these drugs work okay in the real world.

Hit my goal! Skin removal next!

That's great, congratulations! I'm down about 20lbs since January. It's not always been smooth sailing, I've had a few plateaus, but I'm feeling much better.
