    Tirz or Reta to start?

Tirz is the cleaner start for someone already working out - the speed advantage of Reta matters more at higher starting weights.

    Period cravings on GLP-1s?

The luteal phase appetite signal is strong enough to break through GLP-1 satiety for some people. A couple of days accommodating it is normal and won't derail progress.

GLP-1 Plateau - what happens when we stop?

I read an article that said these meds are really intended for long-term use. It made me think about people who use them to lose just a little bit of weight. It also said that when you stop, the hunger comes back hard. Basically, if appetite was the issue before, it'll be the issue again after...

    Booze on GLP-1s?

The reduced desire to drink has been a blessing, honestly. Now if they could make a shot so I'm no longer dependant on miralax!

GLP-1 Plateau - what happens when we stop?

I stopped right before the holidays and it was a big mistake. My hunger went crazy at the worst possible time. I gained almost 40lbs between September and January. I've started again and have lost about 10lbs since the end of January. I've since learned that you should gradually reduce your...

    My Rings are Swimming!

Before starting this med in February, I almost got my ring enlarged. Glad I waited! Now it’s way too loose. I've dropped 45lbs so far!

    Booze on GLP-1s?

I barely feel a buzz, no matter how much I drink. It's killed the enjoyment. One or two drinks is enough to feel included, but I don't crave alcohol anymore, even around drinkers.

    Sticking with the .25 dose?

That sounds rough, Riley. I'd take it slow also, if it was me. Vomiting every day would be my hard limit haha.

    Sticking with the .25 dose?

My question is... how do you define a stall? Is there anything you can do right now that you think might help break the stall?

    Tirzepatide: Dilution Q's

I have a vial compounded to 28mg/ml. Lilly uses up to 30mg/ml.

    Tirzepatide: Dilution Q's

13 units is the same as .13cc or .13ml. I want my injected volume to be less than .5ml. Splitting the dose is good, like 15mg/week as two 7.5mg shots. You can do that if you mix it to 20-30mg/ml (using 2-3ml of bac). The problem is using the 60mg vial when starting at 2.5mg/week. I think it's...

    Sticking with the .25 dose?

That's solid advice. Stay on the lowest dose possible for as long as you see results.

Tirz stalled. Time to bump up?

I read this thread earlier in the week, and it really got me thinking. I've decided it's time to increase my dose; I've been on 2.2 for nine weeks, lost about 13 pounds in the first seven weeks, and now I'm stuck. It might not be a stall, but I think I'm just thinking about/negotiating with...

    Cheat meals still a thing?

I went from a total food lover thinking about my next seven meals, to not caring at all. If you told me that I would never care about food, I would have thought NEVER! But I'm happier and healthier than I've been in years. When "dieting" in the past with low carb, keto, low calorie... I'd look...

    Cheat meals still a thing?

I still have cheat meals weekly, but I watch how much I eat. I used to grab a big meat lover's pizza (4 or 5 slices easily). Now, if I have pizza, it's 2 slices max. My go-to of a 20 oz ribeye with huge baked potato and salad is now a 8 oz steak, a few bites of potato, and half a salad. Plus, I...

    Pics! Same jeans, smaller me!

That's phenomenal progress in a relatively short time! What dose are you on? I hear some people have to titrate up slowly to minimize side effects.
