I don't think that's it. If it's the same bad batch, I'd guess they both got it from a big overseas wholesaler who isn't even close to the actual manufacturer. The distributor is the group buy organizer, not someone who bought from one.

I think it was distributed out of a certain princess's discord. I don't think the patent thing is correct at all. The distributor is reputedly making it good with everyone.
