    Size Small Again: Ozempic Win!

How do you look like you're 6'5" in the first pic?

Is obesity a societal problem, or what?

No way. It means it can be treated like a health problem, but we still have to be responsible for our own health. Acting like food addiction isn't a real thing is just as bad as saying being heavy is a choice. It's way more complex than that, and simplifying it like that doesn't help anyone. At...

    Prime your shots?

Can you even get an embolism from a shot under the skin?

Fridge or no fridge after opening?

Traveling with these injectable meds can definitely be tricky. I was reading a thread about needle disposal while traveling. Some people use empty prescription bottles or small hard cases to collect the used needles and bring them back home for proper disposal. A small pill bottle with a...

    Prime your shots?

To avoid injecting air bubbles, duh.

Fridge or no fridge after opening?

I keep mine in the fridge because at the clinic we keep all meds refrigerated whether they're open or not. Just trying to limit any bacterial growth.

Sema Since Oct '24 - My Story!

That's amazing progress! I'm so glad you're feeling better. I also have prediabetes and insulin resistance so it's inspiring to hear your story. May I ask how old you are and if you see excess skin?

Fridge or no fridge after opening?

It's optional, according to the instructions. Personally, I think keeping it cold helps prevent any icky stuff from growing and keeps the medicine working its best. So, I'm team fridge all the way – before and after the first use!

Sema Since Oct '24 - My Story!

Gradual, consistent progress is often underestimated. Reviewing progress month after month showcases cumulative changes. My experience has been similar, and I didn’t fully grasp it until I compared visuals and lab results.

    Retatrutide dosing, stacking & sides

Really appreciate the structured breakdown. One nuance I would add regarding diet shifts: Mechanistically this makes sense. GLP-1 agonism slows gastric emptying and high-fat meals can feel heavier. Some users interpreting "sugar cravings" may actually be experiencing quicker gastric comfort...

Reta and Insomnia - Anyone Else?

I have also experienced some vivid dreams on GLP-1s, and I agree with Food_xo, upping your protein intake or healthy fats can mitigate those cravings

Reta and Insomnia - Anyone Else?

Try injecting in the AM. Also magnesium can help. If that still isn't enough, maybe some other peps like DSIP or epitalon might do the trick.

    Mounjaro - 2 Years Later!

That's amazing! Were you a runner before starting the meds? I'm only a few weeks in, but I almost immediately started cycling constantly. I've always struggled to get myself to exercise, and now I'm just... hopping on my bike and riding for 45 minutes several times a week, just for fun? It's so...

    Down 55lbs and feeling AMAZING!

Thanks, everyone! To answer some questions, it's been about 10 months. I focused on eating more protein and less processed food, plus walking every day. It's helped a lot!

    Sema vs. PMS Appetite Battle!

That's wild! I've heard of people not getting enough effect on the starting dose, but not the other way around. Bodies are so different!

    Sema vs. PMS Appetite Battle!

Oh my gosh, I thought I was alone! I have ADHD and it feels like my meds just quit working a couple days each month when my appetite goes nuts and everything I usually enjoy becomes boring. It's the worst. Even on semaglutide, it's still a struggle.
