OMG! I can *almost* fit in a normal towel!

Down from 300 to a much lower weight. Not quite there but I was able to wrap a regular towel AROUND MYSELF. I know this sounds silly but its a huge thing for me.

    Protein supplements: changed much?

I'm only a few weeks into my GLP-1 journey but I'm finding that I can barely stomach any protein or fat. Only very plain, bland things. And sweet things, not savory. Toast with jam, oatmeal, bananas. Anybody else feel like this? All I can handle right now is steamed tofu and protein smoothies.

    Protein supplements: changed much?

Exactly, Gene_Chick576. They feel too heavy and not-real now. I find that I'm ok with just a small portion of dessert if I want something sweet. In general, those really dense foods aren't as appealing. I prefer fruits and veggies. Meat is something I eat less of, which is why I need those...

    Protein supplements: changed much?

This article in the Times today https://www.nytimes.com/2025/07/27/business/david-protein-bars.html got me thinking... Since starting on a GLP1 back in spring, I've completely lost the need for protein bars. Before, I'd have one almost every day. Now, I only reach for one if I'm out and about...

    GLP-1 shots every 5 or 6 days?

I saw a post on Reddit where someone lost about 80 pounds in 10 months. They said they ate mostly protein and did cardio 4-5 times a week. They're trying to decrease their dose now. Makes me wonder if I should incorporate more cardio.

    GLP-1 shots every 5 or 6 days?

Some weeks, waiting the 6 days is fine, but not this week. Looks like I'll take it tomorrow instead of Wednesday. Thanks for explaining it so clearly!

    GLP-1 shots every 5 or 6 days?

I've been injecting tirzepatide every 6 days, but some weeks I feel like I need it on day 5. Does it matter if I take it on day 5 one week and day 6 the next if needed?

Off GLP-1s for months – still good!

I saw someone on Reddit mention they're doing 'hungry days' after eating a ton the day before. Seems like a good way to stay on track!

Oral GLP-1 pills: what to expect

This is super helpful, thank you. Newbie question: I normally take thyroid meds and blood pressure meds first thing. Would that mean I have to stagger everything? That part seems complicated compared to just doing a weekly shot.
