    My GLP-1 Victory Lap!

Hey everyone, figured I'd share some wins after my recent check-up. I'm 66, started my journey on Jan 30th, 2024. Initial weight: 257.3 lbs. Now: 142.8 lbs. BMI went from 45.6 (Class III Obese) to 25.3 (still overweight, darn BMI!) Body fat: from a scary 52.2% down to 22.3% Muscle mass...

    Reta replacement blues!

That's the right attitude. Plenty of people will tell you you're doing something stupid. (Sometimes they might even be right)

    Reta replacement blues!

People respond differently to Reta. That's not because the Reta is different. Perception varies. You're overthinking it. Go to the vendor connections, pick 3 vendors to research. Search their names on the forum for opinions (no vendor is perfect). Order a couple kits from one. Send a vial to...

    Reta replacement blues!

Few have trial experience, but if it's an identical molecule, it should feel the same. Like brand name vs generic Tirz. Reading for hours is nothing. Ask a specific question, or keep reading until you do have one.

    Ozempic: Not a Magic Bullet?

I hate seeing people complain about 'only' losing 10 pounds in a month or 25 pounds in 3 months. Like, before the meds, you probably weren't losing ANYTHING! It's okay to lose weight at a slower pace. Slow and steady wins the race!

    Ozempic: Not a Magic Bullet?

After 4 weeks, yeah, it takes work. I could easily eat more, but it's easier to resist. I can stay in a calorie range and not be totally miserable wanting more. Makes it easier to say no. If you think you can take these meds and magically lose weight while eating junk, you're wrong. Thank...

    Ozempic: Not a Magic Bullet?

I've seen people in GLP-1 groups losing 40lbs in 4 months, which was discouraging because I'm only losing like 1-2 pounds a week, so maybe 6 pounds a month. I'm down 20 pounds in 3.5 months, which isn't terrible, but I'm not becoming super skinny like the media shows. Some people struggle to eat...
