Pics DO help! (1 month in)

I agree with My_Pal. It's interesting to see the anti-inflammatory effects of these medications. Could open up new avenues for research.

    Tirz first-timer q's - am I doing this rite?

Just a heads-up that my Amo Cagri arrived last week and works perfectly with no pH issues. First Amo jab this week after Skye Peptides before. On Amo Tirz at 7.5mg total weekly with split dosing and Cagri at 0.6mg now. Continuing to lose - down 58 pounds since June.

Clothes fit! Off meds since June!

I'd suggest keeping a food diary for a while to really understand how many calories you need to maintain. It's a pain, but better than fad diets. Knowing the numbers is really important.

    Reta: Effects on booze?

My dentist said my gums look much better during my last checkup. Also, my hair seems to be growing back, and my skin is clearer and softer. It's been pretty amazing. I've lost about 90 pounds, too. Haven't been this thin or healthy in a long time.

    Reta: Effects on booze?

I agree. The UK researcher mentioned a "fingerprint" pointing to liver issues when ALT and AST are normal, but didn't say which markers. It's like they left out the info on purpose.

    Reta: Effects on booze?

I agree. At the lowest dose of Tirz, I was shocked I couldn't even finish one glass of wine. But now I'm back to two glasses, even at higher doses. My libido is still low, though.

    Reta: Effects on booze?

When I was on Sema, I barely touched alcohol. Then my doctor prescribed something else for my eating issues, and the desire totally vanished. It's a mix of two drugs, one of which is used for addiction. It's a cheap generic. I would ask your doctor about it.

    New to GLP-1s? Start Here

Strong post. From a clinical standpoint, I want to reinforce this: Persistent, severe epigastric pain radiating to the back warrants evaluation for pancreatitis. It is uncommon but not something to ignore. Otherwise this is a balanced, responsible introduction.

    GLP-1 & No Results?!

That's a good reminder that these meds aren't a miracle cure and can have side effects. It is important to also have routine checkups.

    GLP-1 & No Results?!

I think the .25 and .50 doses are just to get more money disguised as "checking for side effects." We have capitalistic medicine, so it's a way to get a few extra months of the med even if it's not working. You're not alone. It probably doesn't do anything for most people until you're over 2mg...

    GLP-1 & No Results?!

A lot of people don’t lose weight on the 1.0mg dose because it’s not considered a therapeutic dose. It doesn’t mean anything is wrong. You might need 1.7mg or 2.4mg to lose weight. I suggest looking for a new provider to get the right dose to see if it works! Good luck!

    PCOS weight loss win!

Yes, the other wins matter too. Have you gotten another chest scan since starting this med? Thinking of your mom.

Slow titration vs. brand name schedule?

Officially, yes. The manufacturer guidelines state 56 days after first use, though refrigeration may extend this somewhat. It's a balance between potential waste and ensuring consistent dosing.

Slow titration vs. brand name schedule?

On the topic of dosing correctly, it's important to consider individual response and product stability. I saw a question about Ozempic pen usage. The pen is typically considered stable for 56 days after the first use if stored at room temperature, but refrigeration may extend its usability...
