    Down 22lbs in 3 months!

Hey everyone! So, I was diagnosed with insulin resistance last year and started on metformin. Then my doc switched me to Saxenda, and I was on 1.8mg for about 9 months, but she didn't feel I was progressing enough. Even though I'd already dropped around 13 pounds, she put me on Wegovy. I was 192...

Reta and Heart Rate: What's your experience?

Reta hasn't increased my RHR. I don't have any experience with Tirz though.

    Dosing quandaries...

That's a great point, ATL_Lois. Low and slow can be a really sustainable way to go.

    Dosing quandaries...

You don't have to increase the dose by 2.5mg increments. You could increase by smaller increments, like 0.5mg each week, until you find a balance where you have appetite suppression without too many side effects. Those 2.5mg steps are just what they used in the clinical trials for the official...

Reta dosing...am I doing this right?

I'm doing so much research, I'm starting to get lost! If I freeze my Reta, how long will it last? Or should I just follow the expiration date on the vial? Thanks!

Down 14 lbs — feeling great!

What's your dosage? How long did it take to drop those 14lbs? I have the same goal... I want to lose around 15 pounds. I'm on a low dose but I'm not sure if that's the way to go. Haven't lost anything yet.

    Halfway to goal!

I'm only a month and a half in and about 20 gone. I want it gone faster! Going up in dose soon. Hoping I won't need a seatbelt extender on the plane when I head home. You're doing wonderfully!

Just a heads up: my husband is not the most tactful person. He tells it like it is! LOL

    Halfway to goal!

Starting weight: 225 lbs Current weight: 194 lbs Goal weight: 175 lbs I'm on 0.875mg of semaglutide, planning to bump it up to 1mg when I'm back home after this work trip. Here's a before-and-after.

Tirz supply gonna dry up soon?

I wish all insurance covered them! My husband's insurance covers Ozempic because he's pre-diabetic, but mine won't cover anything for weight loss unless I'm, like, dying.

Tirz supply gonna dry up soon?

I think that one lab actually makes their products in the US. Probably with raws from that one country? They were the first vendor I bought from, and looking at their prices now makes me sick since I found the gray market.

    GLP-1s, 1.5 yrs in - worth it?

Honestly, it's still a work in progress. I find that having healthy snacks readily available helps. Also, recognizing when I'm eating for emotional reasons and trying to find other ways to cope, like going for a walk or calling a friend.

Tirz supply gonna dry up soon?

I'm new to the gray market and want to stock up, but not so much that it gets wasted. I paid for 9 months' supply through a weight loss clinic (already mixed and expensive). How long are you all comfortable storing this stuff in the freezer? I know I need to use my mixed vials first, but want...

52F, started at 297, now 147 lbs. Only 7 lbs till I hit my ultimate goal! Eighteen months on this med and its been a total transformation!

Tirz supply gonna dry up soon?

I thought last year the FDA would crack down on importing, but nothing really happened. Now I have a bunch of tirz I probably won't use. I think it'll always be around, honestly. Maybe some crackdowns here and there. But look at bodybuilders and the stuff they buy. A lot of them are buying...

Reconstituting GLP-1s: pH, storage & safety

Love this thread. On the travel side - I've done multi-day road trips with unreconstituted vials in a small insulated case, no freezer packs, just kept out of heat. No issues. I personally wouldn't refreeze mixed stuff though. Too much drama for me.
