    Finally normal! Lost a ton!

Wow, what a transformation! You were pretty before, but now it's next level! I'm almost at my target BMI and it feels amazing, doesn't it? (Though now my old 'too small' dresses are too big ... oh well 🤷🏻‍♀️😂).

Wow, what an inspiring journey! Congrats on reaching your goals. For those just starting, remember that consistency and patience are key. Sema almost a year 30+ down

I totally get that fear! I think the key is to use the med to help you build new habits. It's not just about the appetite suppression, it's about learning how to eat and live differently so you can maintain the loss after.

    Major weight loss - opinions?

Losing the face fuzz isn't always a great move! I once shaved my beard off and my dog went bonkers and bit me! My partner ignored me for ages, and my kid (who was tiny then) burst into tears! The other one didn't care then, and still doesn't now. You look good and more importantly your bloods...

Sema almost a year 30+ down

Awesome job! I'm at about 30lbs down in 9 months! It's hard when you see people losing that much in like, 2 months, but I try to remember that slow and steady wins the race. This is the most I've ever lost at once!

    GLP-1 bloodwork deets?

I've also seen cases where people's testosterone levels increased significantly while on these meds. It may be correlated with weight loss/better blood glucose control. This is anecdotal, of course. Remember to always discuss any medical concerns with your doctor!

Finally hit my goal -- now what?

I saw a post somewhere about someone who stopped completely. They'd lost a lot of weight over like, ten years with diet/exercise, then used the meds for a few months to get to their goal. Sounds like lifestyle is still key! I hope I can do the same.

    GLP-1 bloodwork deets?

Interesting thread! I wanted to share my experience a few weeks after starting sema. My A1C went from 7.8 to 6.6, glucose dropped from 147 to 111, and my blood pressure went from 145/90 to 122/80. Seems things are moving in the right direction. I've been increasing water intake and fiber.

Tirzepatide tummy troubles - Sema a better bet?

I've been on both, and I even got cyclic vomiting syndrome from sema. Finding a company with B12 helped a lot!
