This med makes me pee all the time!

It's interesting how these meds affect everyone differently. I've also read some people with IBS actually find relief on them!

Stalled? Tira bump or switch to Reta?

Thanks for the detailed reply. Side effects: Constipation, dry skin, and being cold. Fiber gummies and mag C help with constipation, moisturizer for skin, and I assume being lighter makes you colder. Same meals daily: coffee, shake for lunch, chicken and avocado snack, protein and veg for...

Stalled? Tira bump or switch to Reta?

So, options: 1. Wait and see if it's just a 2-week thing. 2. Increase to 10mg. 3. 7.5mg every 5 days. 4. Add 2mg Reta to 7.5mg Tirz. 5. Switch to Reta. Decisions, decisions! 🙂

Stalled? Tira bump or switch to Reta?

Protein question: My partner struggles to eat more than 100g daily. They feel like they're eating too much. Does more protein help with weight loss or just keep muscle?

Stalled? Tira bump or switch to Reta?

It's been about 2 weeks. I'll look into a body composition scale. They just started weight lifting, too. Thanks!

Stalled? Tira bump or switch to Reta?

My partner is close to their goal weight, down about 75 pounds on 7.5mg of Tira. They've hit a plateau. Wondering if going up will kickstart the loss again, or just help with appetite. They're not really hungry. Also thinking about switching to Reta. Thoughts? There's a community plateau...

    Best way to track dosages?

I've been on this since January, down about 35 pounds! Started at 0.25mg, now on 1mg. It took awhile, but looking back at pictures I now see the difference!

    Best way to track dosages?

It's annoying how many of these cool apps are only for IOS and not Android. 🥺

    Best way to track dosages?

I use a smartphone reminder, plus a pen to note the date, time, dosage, and number of clicks on the pen's box.

    GLP-1s and Chocolate?

That's so true! If I'm going to indulge in something sweet, I am definitely reaching for the high-end chocolate. Lindt is usually my pick.

    GLP-1 and weekly head pounders?

Has anyone else felt like they have the flu a lot of the time? I've been on 0.25 semaglutide for a month, bumped to 0.5 for 3 weeks and got a bad stomach bug so I dropped back to 0.25. I'm down about 15 pounds, but I've felt nauseous since starting. Is this my new normal?

    Sema stopped working?? Anyone else?

Thanks HeartCake. It's definitely a grind. I started very slowly and worked my way up to that level. I would try to add steps gradually, and increase them week by week.

Didn't Feel Anything Right Away? Help!

I agree with RunBeer282 about the food thoughts. It's like when you try *not* to think about a pink elephant, you can *only* think about a pink elephant! Try distracting yourself when you catch yourself checking in on the food noise. A walk, a book, anything to shift your focus.

Food just ain't the same anymore?

I'm on Zepbound, down about 20, and vegetables are starting to repulse me now, too! Even chicken is starting to taste 'off'. Carbs are the only things that sound good, mostly bland ones. I used to be so healthy!

    Sema stopped working?? Anyone else?

Does anyone else think about walking/exercise while on GLP-1 meds? I aim for 20,000 steps on weekdays. My watch says that I burn about 3,000 calories/day. I'm on Wegovy and down 70 lbs in like 7 months... but I get my steps in!

    GLP-1 and weekly head pounders?

I've had headaches for around 4 months now. I just had to take a couple of Ibuprofen. Drinking plenty of water and taking electrolytes doesn't seem to help. It's the main negative effect that I've experienced.
