    Tirz appetite suppression TOO strong?

Thanks for the reply. I know about the increased heart rate, and I don't really mind it. It's the adrenaline dumps that are the problem. I'm going to try spacing out the injections at half the 2.5mg dose and see what happens.

    Tirz appetite suppression TOO strong?

Hey everyone, I recently got some tirzepatide and I've taken 5 weekly doses. I started at 2.5mg, even trying half that amount, but the appetite suppression is intense. As a (retired) physique competitor, I prioritize food and macros, so this is challenging. I feel queasy from hunger, but I just...

    Bilirubin increase on tirz?

Interesting about the blood pressure thing. I hadn't thought about it. I've been on BP meds for years due to genetics, might be something to keep an eye on as I continue on this journey.

    Bilirubin increase on tirz?

I'm curious about your lipid panel. My Chem 13 looked great, but my lipid panel almost doubled. I can't figure it out...

    Down almost 100 lbs!

I've noticed that people sometimes don't comment on weight loss, even when it's obvious. I think people are afraid of saying the wrong thing, or maybe they don't know how the weight was lost (surgery, medication, diet, etc.). Don't take it personally if people aren't saying anything. You know...

    Tirz... Stuck. Help me decide!

Something as simple as a daily fiber supplement can make a huge difference. Also, make sure you are drinking enough water. Dehydration makes constipation worse.

    Tirz... Stuck. Help me decide!

I'm with Blair on this one. Sticking to established protocols backed by clinical trials is generally the safest bet, especially when you're just starting out. You can always explore the less conventional methods later if the standard approach doesn't give you the results you're after.

    Low ferritin on GLP-1s?

Just a heads up, since Robin16 mentioned iron sucrose: some forms of IV iron can lead to hypophosphatemia. It isn't super common, but something to keep in mind.

    Low ferritin on GLP-1s?

Please be careful. IV iron can cause reactions, and usually requires test doses. I use Venofer at my job and it's considered pretty safe. I haven't heard of subq iron. I've only done it IV. If it infiltrates, patients complain of burning.

    One year on GLP-1s!

I can relate to feeling more confident now. I saw someone post about finally feeling good enough to take beach photos after losing weight on sema. It's about more than just the numbers on the scale; it's about feeling comfortable in your own skin.

I started my journey at 318 pounds and now I'm down to 230. Semaglutide is an amazing medicine. Wish I had started earlier!

    Ozempic shaming in the OR?!

I wonder if there is anything out there that could help with healing up after any potential surgical procedures? I may need that soon

    Ozempic shaming in the OR?!

Ugh. My colonoscopy is this Wednesday. Now I'm worried...

    Ozempic shaming in the OR?!

I'd suggest taking it a step further and contacting the department head or patient relations. This is completely unacceptable.
