    Traveling with Glucagon-like Peptides?

Glucagon's counterregulatory role does make it oddly omnipresent. TSA doesn't share the enthusiasm though.

    Down 50lbs- Can't stop smiling!

Metabolic research on this class gets broader the further in you go.

    Tirz powder still good?

Tirzepatide powder at 13 months unmixed depends heavily on storage conditions - lyophilized peptides at -20C are generally stable 2-3 years, but room-temperature or fridge storage at that age is a real degradation risk. Testing or sourcing fresh is the conservative call.

    Can you see a change?

That is great advice I was just thinking about weight training.

    Thank you all so much!

    Can you see a change?

I was taking 2mg but it was too high a dose for me. I lowered it to 1.5mg, and that was still too strong, so I'm back to 1mg. I'm thinking of trying 1.5mg again next week to see if it works better this time.

    Can you see a change?

It's hard to believe! I don't think I've ever been able to comfortably fit into a size 2X before. They actually fit today!

    Can you see a change?

I began taking Ozempic around early November of '25. My weight was about 316 pounds then, and now the scale reads 252 pounds. Am I imagining things, or is there a noticeable difference? I snapped this photo today while trying on some outfits.

Is obesity a societal problem, or what?

Absolutely! I've got a lot to say about this too. It's infuriating when you realize what's happening. The connections between poverty and obesity, or trauma (especially childhood trauma) and obesity... And then the US doesn't want us to afford healthcare or groceries or therapy—it's just too much.

    Weight Back After Stopping?

From what I've seen online, it seems crucial to have a plan for maintenance *before* you even get to your goal weight. Many people think they can just stop the medication and go back to eating 'normally', but that's when the weight comes back. Lifestyle changes are key, but for some people, the...

    Weight Back After Stopping?

I'm guessing this is for people who finish a study, not those pulled out early. Their choices to this free placebo study might be paying $$$$$/month, a huge monthly co-pay, or complete denial of insurance coverage and stopping. Clinical trials don't offer anything post-graduation, do they...???

    Weight Back After Stopping?

People lie or fail, but some genuinely gain weight on what they think is a 500-calorie deficit. The issue with calorie deficits is you only know after the fact. If you lose weight, it was a deficit. If not, it wasn't. 'Calories out' changes constantly.

    Weight Back After Stopping?

That's what I figured would happen, to be honest. If the lifestyle changes could get us to a BMI of 25 (or whatever), no one would need the medication. The main change was cutting calories. That falls apart when you remove the drug that makes cutting calories easier.

Down 60lbs in 6 months - still going!

The price just soared another $250 each month! Plus, I'm not seeing results because I'm still binging!

    Mounjaro: a year later

The rejuvenation is really something else. I was nearly at the healthy/overweight line for a while, so it was so satisfying to cross over. Hope you get there smoothly!

Nextech Labs - Anyone tried them?

Just remember, most peptides aren't FDA approved, but they are often legal to prescribe. It’s more about the compounding pharmacies they use. Reputable ones will have better quality control. Expect to pay a premium for that peace of mind.

Nextech Labs - Anyone tried them?

Verifying a test result on those sites isn't necessarily a bad thing. Vendors who openly share those results are kind of like the kid who finally got an A on the test and wants everyone to see it. But, they might just be using that one result to cover up other batches. Especially if they don't...

    Reta stopped working?!

What dosage are you currently using? Also consider getting bloodwork done to rule out any other underlying causes. A hormone panel could be insightful too.
