And they're not completely driven by profit.

    GLP-1 prices drop?

Then hats off to the resourceful grey vendors for providing an affordable, life-changing resource to tons of us for very little profit compared to the stock-driven big pharma companies. Yes, they need capital, but most of us wouldn't qualify for a prescription even if we could find a willing...

    GLP-1 prices drop?

After actually reading the articles beyond the headlines, it's clear that 1) any price drops were already in motion, and 2) this doesn't mean weight-loss drugs will be cheaper for most overweight people. The requirements to get the lower prices still leave most at the mercy of insurance...

    MJ Two Years: Still Going!

For me, the biggest thing was really dialing in my diet and being consistent with exercise. It's a lifestyle change, not just a temporary fix. I'm still learning, but that consistency has been key.

    MJ Two Years: Still Going!

Thanks everyone for the kind words! It definitely keeps me motivated. ShrinkUpdate, I had the skin removal on my stomach area. It made a huge difference in how I feel about myself. And I agree with the others – I'm feeling younger than I have in years! Bring on the strength training!

    MJ Two Years: Still Going!

F40. Was 303, now 158. Hit 2 years on Mounjaro! Started 10/26/23. Skin removal done 6/4/25. Today's my 2-year mark since diving into this health thing. Usually, I don't pat myself on the back much, but I'm really chuffed about dropping the pounds and keeping them off. Weight's been a lifelong...

Switching from Sema to Reta - Experiences?

Good points. Also, are you still feeling the appetite suppression from the semaglutide? Is food noise creeping back in? And what about exercise? Are you weight training?

Switching from Sema to Reta - Experiences?

I have taken both Tirzepatide and Semaglutide. I didn't notice significant effects from Retatrutide until I reached 6mg, then I experienced good weight loss at 8-10mg.

    Compounding Wars? Prices droppin'?

Following this thread, I just spent a few minutes searching and exploring over at the other Tirz sub on Reddit and found well laid out pages comparing companies and 2 or 3 month plans with prices.

    Compounding Wars? Prices droppin'?

My views on risk assessment being individual come from teaching motorcycle riding. Like everyone who's taught beginners, some of my students died on motorcycles, because bikes are riskier than cars. Some coaches took it hard, but I never did, because I never pushed anyone who didn't want it...

    Compounding Wars? Prices droppin'?

That particular story had a happy ending. I talked with her about sourcing, mixing, filtering, and she was like "That's a whole new skill set, a new hobby. I don't need better skin badly enough to go down that rabbit hole." If she changes her mind (she's been a widow for a bit and is in a...

    One year on the shot!

I've read that a pretty high percentage of weight lost on these meds can be muscle. Anyone know the best way to mitigate that, besides weight training, which I already do?

    Compounding Wars? Prices droppin'?

Yeah, that's the plan. I'm pulling two vials from my stash (already used one) and sending them to her with filters, vials, syringes, and bac water. She's got the filtering video, the forum link, and all the info on the peptides. Hopefully, that'll get her through one cycle, and she can decide if...

    Compounding Wars? Prices droppin'?

Eating my words now... my mom wants to try it, and I'm suddenly super worried, because I'm way more risk-tolerant for myself than for her.

    Compounding Wars? Prices droppin'?

She could! She knows what I'm doing, but I'm not pressuring her. Going that route needs to be a solo decision after lots of research and understanding risks, not because a friend said it's cool.

    Compounding Wars? Prices droppin'?

My source is still at half a grand for three months, no matter the dose. I'm gonna refill and ask to go up on dosage (10mg, maybe even 15mg) because a friend wants to try it, but can't float the $500, and isn't ready for the other stuff. We'll split the refill. The first order was four vials of...
