Adding my experience: I had anxiety for about 10 days after increasing dose. Sleep was off, heart felt racey. I almost quit. It resolved without changing anything.
So for some people there really is an adjustment window. Hard part is knowing when to push through vs pull back.
For me, the biggest side effect was some nausea, especially in the beginning. Also, make sure you're drinking plenty of water, as dehydration can make things worse!
Wow, half-of-me, that's quite the story! I can definitely relate to the unexpected GI issues. It's like playing Russian roulette with your bowels sometimes!
I saw someone on another forum mentioned that they literally had to start wearing diapers to work some days because they were so worried...
It's not about finding the 'easy way out,' it's about finding what works for you. Some people need extra help, and there's nothing wrong with that. Congrats on taking control of your health!
For me, tirz slowed things down. Not a huge deal, but noticeable. Reta, on the other hand, made things move a bit TOO quickly, if you catch my drift. Sema was the absolute worst for constipation, in my opinion! Just thought I'd throw that out there.
Hey Moody_Gang53, I saw a post from someone else who was saying they've had body image issues since they were eight. This med helped them fix it - maybe it can help you too?
I get that. I'm kinda the opposite. I think I'm still in shape, but I've stacked on 30+ pounds on my 5'2 frame since COVID. Body image and reality clashin' sucks. My body changed 'cause my habits did, and it's been years now, but I'm tryin' to claw my way back to who I thought I was before I get...
Awesome progress! You should add your starting weight, height, and the date you started, along with where you are now and your goal weight. It helps others!
