Food just ain't the same anymore?

The taste preference shift on tirz is well-documented - fatty and sweet foods tend to lose their pull most noticeably. For some it's dose-dependent and reverses at lower doses, for others it settles into a new normal. Worth tracking which foods lost appeal.

Just took my first shot! Eeeek!

The blue-green color in GHK-Cu vials is from the copper chelate - that's normal and expected, not a contamination or quality issue.

GLP-1: Injection site + Costco finds?

Thigh rotation after abdomen sensitivity is the right move - site tolerance varies significantly early on.

    AOD-9604 & Tirz ... anyone?

Interesting about the NAD+ King_Notes. Keep us updated on how that goes!

    AOD-9604 & Tirz ... anyone?

What's your weekly tirz dose? It needs about a month to build up properly. I would suggest waiting until you are at your target weight but still have stubborn belly fat, or until you're at the max tirz dose, before adding anything. Also, lots of people say AOD isnt that effective.

    Ugh, these side effects!

It's worth noting that GLP-1 receptor agonists can significantly affect gastrointestinal function. A recent discussion with Dr. Camilleri from Mayo highlighted the importance of monitoring patients for GI side effects. Some studies suggest that changes in gastric emptying can occur. So it's good...

    Ugh, these side effects!

I've found that using psyllium husk and activated charcoal can really help mitigate those unpleasant side effects.

GLP-1s and Acne Flare-Ups? Anyone else?

I saw someone mention they are taking a stack of supplements, but still experiencing hair loss and other issues. It reminded me of how easy it is to overdo supplements. Def worth checking with a doc. There's a potential risk of B6 toxicity. Many vitamins contain more than the daily recommended...

Just boarded my flight to see family! The last time I saw them, I was carrying an extra 65 pounds. Glad I could keep my promise to be lighter this time around. 🙂

GLP-1s and Acne Flare-Ups? Anyone else?

Is there vitamin B12 or B6 in your medication? If so, that could be a contributing factor contributing to the acne.

Weight Loss Was Just the Beginning

I think it's interesting how these meds affect relationships too. I've heard some people say it's changed the dynamics with their partner. Has anyone else experienced this, either positively or negatively? Changes in confidence, attraction, eating habits together?

Weight Loss Was Just the Beginning

I mentioned in another thread that the best benefit of this drug for me (aside from losing almost 90 pounds and feeling in control for the first time) is that it has stopped food from being my second job.

    Mounjaro success on my 29th!

Consistency is absolutely key, as ScaleGal685 mentioned. Also, make sure you are drinking enough water. Sometimes thirst can be mistaken for hunger, leading to unnecessary calorie intake. I'd also suggest consulting with a registered dietitian or medical professional to ensure you are hitting...

    Soooo tired on this med?

To DenverDiva82's point, rapid weight loss puts a lot of stress on your body, and that can definitely lead to fatigue and other issues. It's a marathon, not a sprint!
