    Down 70+ lbs! Feels AMAZING!

I'm in the same boat! I began the year around 240 lbs and now I am around 180 lbs. That's about 60lbs gone. I was an 18/2XL too, now I'm a size 10/12 and a medium. It's so strange, I still reach for the bigger sizes! What's your ultimate weight goal? I want to get to 140 lbs, a nice, even 100 lb...

Me too! I could not have done it without the meds. That's awesome!

    Down 70+ lbs! Feels AMAZING!

I had to purchase some new jeans this week. I was wearing a size 20/2x, but now I'm fitting into a size 14! I haven't been this size since college! These meds are really something!

    Myostatin blockers & GLP-1s?

They seem more focused on muscle preservation instead of building it. Preventing muscle atrophy is different from inducing muscle hypertrophy.

    Myostatin blockers & GLP-1s?

Thanks for the link, I'll check it out. I agree that regain is not inevitable. There's a good amount of evidence that Reta actually helps repair the issues, not just curb appetite. I stopped Sema and Reta long enough to get my energy back, I've been doing more cardio, and I've lost a few...

    Myostatin blockers & GLP-1s?

I studied pre-med and robotics with a focus on stats and data, but I still feel like I barely know anything compared to people who have advanced degrees. It's impossible to learn everything, even if you work in the field. Sigh

    Myostatin blockers & GLP-1s?

My husband is considering starting a low dose of Reta after the holidays, but he's concerned about losing muscle. I've been doing some research for him. Was thinking 3g/day sounds right. Thanks!

    Myostatin blockers & GLP-1s?

What do you think about HMB? Some people swear by it for muscle retention, but others say it's a waste of money.

    Myostatin blockers & GLP-1s?

Thanks for the details on ACE-031. I appreciate the explanation on why it isn't more widely available. I'm here to learn, and that was helpful!

    Myostatin blockers & GLP-1s?

I think you're misunderstanding. ACE-031 does the *opposite* of inhibiting muscle growth. That's why some bodybuilders will stack it with GLP-1 receptor agonists. It's meant to help you gain muscle without the more severe side effects from anabolics or SARMs. Yes, I know Garetosmab and...

    Myostatin blockers & GLP-1s?

I'm interested in myostatin research, specifically ActRIIB ligands, however, I can't find too much discussion about it here. It seems like most people just stick to creatine or Beta-Alanine. I'm surprised there aren't more conversations, especially since there are several Phase 2 clinical trials...

    7 months on GLP-1, progress!

Someone posted 8 months in and the difference in their face was amazing! Said they felt so much happier too. That's what I'm hoping for!

    A year on GLP-1s!

I love seeing these success stories! I'm down about 40lbs on a GLP-1 after about 9 months. Still got like 30 to go, but I'm swimming now and just generally feel healthier. Slow and steady wins the race!
