Fine to stay on a low dose?

Low dose to preserve the sparkle is a valid reason to stay where you are.

    Mounjaro - 3 months in!

93 lbs and holding through a maintenance stretch is the full picture. The last months becoming about maintaining rather than losing is what long-term looks like - the medication keeps doing its job even when the number stops moving fast.

    Anyone labeling with GLP-1 pens?

I'm completely open about using GLP-1s. I've lost around 140 pounds. Nobody has directly asked how I lost the weight, which I find kind of strange. There are some people who think taking a GLP-1 is somehow 'cheating.' I think it just proves that being overweight can be a medical issue, and these...

    Stopping Ozempic - what's next?

I saw someone online talking about stopping their semaglutide meds. They'd lost a TON of weight (like half their body weight!) and were worried about not hitting some 'perfect' BMI. It made me think about how important mental health is alongside the physical changes. It's great to have goals...

    Stopping Ozempic - what's next?

Big_Tony_NJ How was your experience when you first started? Did you get nauseous?

    Stopping Ozempic - what's next?

I always thought diabetes was a forever thing too. Maybe get another opinion before stopping Ozempic altogether, Georgie? It's what's controlling your blood sugar, after all. I think once you stop, your blood sugar will probably go up again. My doctor told me I'd be on it for life.

    Shrinking but scale stuck?

Thanks all for the replies! It's encouraging to hear others are experiencing the same thing. I'll try to focus on how my clothes fit and how I feel rather than obsessing over the scale.

    Can't 💩 on Sema? SOS!

Okay, dragon fruit sounds... interesting, A_R_C_Journey! I'll definitely keep that in mind. For now, I'm gonna try the increased water and magnesium citrate at night.

    Shrinking but scale stuck?

Yes!! Clothes fit looser, watch band, rings, etc., but the scale doesn’t show the major changes in clothing.

    Can't 💩 on Sema? SOS!

Magnesium citrate seems to be a popular suggestion! I'll also reduce the psyllium tablets to two a day. Thanks for all the advice!

Best way to toss needles while traveling?

Just a reminder, wherever you inject, rotate injection spots to prevent irritation. Some people find one area works better than another. Some people report feeling less hungry when they inject in their abdomen, but it varies from person to person.

    Shrinking but scale stuck?

I haven't seen much movement on the scale, but people are saying I look slimmer. I'm on 1mg, taking half on Saturdays and the other half on Wednesdays. I've always been pretty active, but also on the heavier side. My family jokes that I'm just 'big boned' like my dad. I lift weights, bike...

Best way to toss needles while traveling?

Bringing the used needles home in a secure container is often the simplest solution. If you're using insulin syringes, a needle clipper might be useful: https://a.co/d/0eADil4S. (Note: I haven't tried this specific one; it's just the first one I saw).

    Can't 💩 on Sema? SOS!

Okay, I'm mortified but need help. I have IBS-D, so usually fiber sends me running to the bathroom, not the other way around. I'm about to do my fourth .25mg injection, and this week? Forget about it. I was literally sobbing on the floor trying to dislodge... well, you get the picture. Worse...

    Making BAC water at home?

Well, that 30-day thing was from Gemini. If you're making your own, it's not a bad idea to follow. I only use name-brand BAC water, and the 30-day thingies is for places where a vial is opened frequently over the day or week. For personal use, I've stretched it past a couple months with no...

    Making BAC water at home?

I don't think this is any worse than buying Chinese BAC from those websites. At least you know what's in it. If you can find a good local source, like SlightlyLess88 suggested, that's better than making your own. The instructions I posted were for someone who couldn't get it where they lived in...

    Making BAC water at home?

Someone in the UK had the same problem getting it and ended up making it. I used Gemini to summarize the recipe cause I couldn't find the original post. Double check this yourself, filter it maybe, and use it at your own risk: Use sterile water: Distilled water is best. If you use tap water...
