    Face gains! Before & After

Hey everyone, I wanted to show off my before and after pics. Sometimes I can't believe it's the same person. Back when I weighed the most, I was about 245 pounds, that was like 6 or 7 years ago. When I started on whatever GLP-1 a year and a half ago, I was around 225. It took about 10 months to...

    Down 40lbs since Feb!

That's amazing progress Clean_Journey! It's great your doctor is being proactive. I've seen some patients experience significant improvements in joint pain and mobility as they lose weight. Hope you get that surgery covered!

    GLP-1 vendor sketchiness?

Most peps aren't FDA approved, technically, but it's the compounding pharmacy that matters. They should have better QC procedures.

    GLP-1 vendor sketchiness?

LOL CellMom, sounds like a textbook scam! Crypto receipt for a carrier? Nope!

    Cagri side effects vary?

I just ordered a couple vials to try. Hope I don't get the fatigue. I've heard people talk about that.

    Tirz dosing - what's 'enough'?

Just be sure you understand the dosing math. I saw someone online confused because they only received 1ml of solution that was intended to last a month, but their weekly dose seemed like it would require more than that. They were getting mixed up between mg and ml. Definitely double check your...

    Tirz dosing - what's 'enough'?

It's not a one-size-fits-all thing. The right dose varies. If you're eating healthy, staying hydrated, exercising, and losing weight slowly and steadily with minimal side effects, there's no reason to increase. The goal is always the lowest effective dose.

12 Week Ozempic Journey - pics!

Cool! I bet your stats are close to mine but a little lower at the start and current weight. I also started about 12 weeks ago and I've lost 22 lbs. Started at 249, now 227. I'm also aiming for under 200, but I don't want to be disappointed so I haven't set a firm goal date. Congrats! Looking...

    Mounjaroversary - one year in!

Important reminder for everyone: Make sure you're following a balanced diet and getting enough protein while on these meds. The rapid weight loss can sometimes lead to muscle loss if you're not careful.

    Mounjaroversary - one year in!

Congrats! I've been on it for about 18 months now and the results are incredible! Just a reminder to supplement with minerals every day, especially calcium, magnesium, potassium & iron.

GLP-1: How long does it *really* last?

I've been reading up on lyophilization, and honestly, I'm not too concerned about storage anymore. Post-reconstitution is different, but I saw one company was okay with a 6-month expiration when refrigerated.

    Ozempic fridge check: Week 2

I've noticed a lot of patients think that just taking the medication is enough. But it's more effective when you also adjust your diet. I've seen much better results when patients focus on protein and vegetables.
