Ozempic kicking my butt - help!

Drink lots of water, dehydration can make those side effects worse. Peppermint tea can also help with the nausea. But definitely talk to your doctor if it feels like too much; there might be another medication that would be a better fit for you.

    Ozempic: Unexpected Perks?

I don't even want alcohol anymore. I don't even consider having a glass of wine with dinner, and I certainly don't want to drink a lot.

Pics! Down 30, feeling amazing :')

I've observed how my arms are closer to my body, rather than sticking out. I'm seeing this transformation in so many progress pics! It's a small change, but it feels amazing to have my arms not sticking out so much.

    Reta kinda... disappeared?

It sounds like you may be using the wrong units of measure. Milligrams (mg) and milliliters (mL) are different. Make sure you are reading the syringe correctly before injecting anything.

Crap, knew I was missing something! Be right back!!!

    Reta kinda... disappeared?

Wait a minute... I thought if your vial of reta dried up after adding 3iu of bac, you're supposed to scrape it out and snort it? Was I misinformed?

Starting Reta - First Week Results?

Congrats on the steady progress! Slow and steady wins the race. Hair loss and regrowth are certainly things to watch for on GLP-1s.

    Reta kinda... disappeared?

No offense intended, but is this a joke? Pretty much everything you said is wrong or misinformed. At least you seem to have third-party confirmation that it's actually 29mg and not whatever it was advertised as being. See my signature for more info.

    Ozempic for a final push?

I've also been seeing some interesting stuff about peptides. I'm not sure if they're related to GLP-1s or anything, but someone was saying peptides can be slow to work. Something about a guy using MK-677 and getting bad side effects even at low doses. Anyone know anything about those?

Worried losing weight would change me...

I owe everything to the woman I used to be: the courage, the resolve, and always trying. If I encountered her now, I'd reassure her that there is a solution, and if she commits, like she always has, everything will be ok. I feel nothing but love and understanding for that woman. I’m here now...

    Ozempic for a final push?

Back in '18, I weighed 280 at 5'4". Using a popular diet plan, I got down to 220 over like 18 months. Then I stalled. Last year, new meds and perimenopause threw a wrench in the works, and I gained back about 15, putting me at 235 again. I started Ozempic about a year ago, and I'm now at 205...

Starting Reta - First Week Results?

Reta sometimes causes a slight increase in pulse rate, but shouldn't be anything major. If you feel it's doing more than that, see a doctor.

    Pep's for hair growth??

Spot on. Temporary hair loss due to telogen effluvium is common with significant weight changes. As GastricBypass99 mentioned, adequate protein intake is crucial. Consider a multivitamin as well, especially one containing iron and biotin.

    Pep's for hair growth??

Copper peptides, particularly GHK-Cu and AHK-Cu, are often talked about for hair. GHK-Cu is well-known here for skin benefits. AHK-Cu is more targeted towards hair specifically.

    Coming off MJ...any success stories?

I pay out of pocket too, and taking it forever would be great, but the cost is insane! I've also hit my goal and am tapering down. I'm almost out of doses! I'm hoping to keep up my new habits and maintain the weight loss! Good luck with your journey!

    Coming off MJ...any success stories?

As a prescriber in the US, and someone who also uses similar meds, my experience with patients over the last few years is that almost nobody maintains the loss after stopping completely. Some tried extreme diets and exercise. Everyone I know of who stopped eventually restarted to lose regain.
