    Pants Size Victory!

For anyone who's just starting, don't get discouraged by slow progress. I've seen some patients who lose like crazy at first, then it slows down a lot. Other people have a steady, gradual loss. Just keep following your plan.

    Pants Size Victory!

Awesome! I had to tighten my belt a notch after just a couple of weeks. It's really hard to believe!

    Mounjaro: A Year-Long Ride

As Dog-Lady mentioned, regular bloodwork is crucial. Rapid weight loss, like you experienced, can put a strain on the kidneys and gallbladder. It's also important to ensure adequate protein intake to prevent muscle loss. A registered dietitian can be a great resource for optimizing your...

    GLP-1 non-responders?

I've read that some people try increasing their dose if they plateau, but always talk to your doctor first. Also, make sure you're drinking enough water and getting enough fiber and protein. Sometimes that helps break through it.

5 Months In - Feeling Great!

I'm similar to your before picture and just started yesterday. Did you notice a change in bust size? I'm so over having large breasts 😭

    GLP-1 non-responders?

I barely lost any weight on tirzepatide for like, 8 months, only about 5 lbs. I was on the max dose and had terrible side effects: bloating, queasiness, sulfurous burps, exhaustion, just generally feeling awful. But about 2 months ago, I switched to retatrutide with cagrilintide, and I've...

    Wellbutrin + Naltrexone Experiences?

Not sure if you were asking me, but I’ll chime in anyway. The usual dose for rehab is 50 mg (at least that’s what the doc told me). I must have been a problem case - I took 100 mg/day for a year. I can say that I didn’t have many alcohol cravings, but I craved sugar like crazy. Then I stopped...

    Wellbutrin + Naltrexone Experiences?

Thanks for the correction!! Yes it was Chantix. Mixed up my anti-psychotics and suicidal thoughts.

    Wellbutrin + Naltrexone Experiences?

I’ve written before about my experiences using Naltrexone and tirz and how they compare at fighting my cravings for alcohol (tirz wins). A long time ago I also used bupropion as Chantix to quit smoking. Not a good experience - weird dreams, waking up confused. When I realized that BP was...

    One year on, holy cow!

Great work! I find it very difficult to lose weight around the tummy. Still struggling with that area... Your transformation motivates me to continue and work harder.

    Do *you* see the difference?

I try to eat a balanced diet, focusing on protein. As for exercise, I mostly do walking and some light strength training. Nothing too crazy!

    Do *you* see the difference?

I can see it when I'm dressed. Not so much when I'm not, lol. It's bizarre to see myself like this. I went on a cruise a while back and they automatically gave me a medium life jacket. Should've asked for a small, it was too big and annoying. But I didn't even think to question the size!

Pharma greed - US vs UK?

If you don't have government insurance, use the Ozempic savings card too: https://www.ozempic.com/savings-and-resources/save-on-ozempic.html. GoodRx works as well: https://www.goodrx.com/ozempic
