    Just starting out... your advice?

The reconstitution kit makes the process a lot smoother from the start - worth checking before you need to troubleshoot mid-vial.

    Tirz powder still good?

Waiting on lab results is the right call before drawing conclusions. Color variation alone doesn't confirm identity - the test will clarify.

Retatrutide & other peptides in one shot?

Asking for the source is the right instinct with peptide combinations. The mixing data that exists is mostly from formal research contexts with different formulations than what individuals are using. For tesamorelin and ipamorelin specifically, the clinical trial references are the starting...

    GLP-1s making me numb?

Felt the exact same thing at 7.5mg — emotional flatness, music didn't hit the same, social stuff felt like going through motions. Talked to my doc, dropped back to 5mg, and the baseline came back within about 2 weeks. Lost a little less weight per month at the lower dose but it was worth it...

    Starting Mounjaro this week!

The nausea has a bit of a morning sickness vibe without the actual vomiting. One of my favorite late-night snacks is air-popped popcorn with seasoning. Old Weight Watchers trick. You're better off having real Parmesan cheese for protein than a protein bar. 50g of Parmesan has 16g of protein...

    Starting Mounjaro this week!

Try not to worry too much! Many people find the injections painless and have little to no side effects. You'll probably be just fine. Best of luck!

    Tirzepatide + B12 = 💣?

Good to know! Thanks for the heads-up. Always good to stay informed about potential side effects, even rare ones.

    Tirzepatide + B12 = 💣?

I'm playing devil's advocate here. I get being annoyed with big pharma and thinking it's all about money. But, the simple fact is that mixing tirzepatide and B12 hasn't been thoroughly studied. So, yeah, the safety is unknown. And why IS B12 being added? Maybe for marketing? Maybe to make a...

    Tirzepatide + B12 = 💣?

I totally agree about the motives, it's pretty obvious. That said, since I know some people here use B12 with their tirz, I figured this was worth mentioning. I don't even use tirz myself! But if I did, I'd probably do B12 separately.

    Tirzepatide + B12 = 💣?

Of course, they don't say what the impurity actually IS. Shady. https://investor.lilly.com/news-releases/news-release-details/open-letter-eli-lilly-and-company-warning-potential-patient https://www.instagram.com/reel/DVzA_2gj_6Q/?igsh=MTkyYTJ5MzV6N2U2Nw==

    Tirzepatide + B12 = 💣?

I know the narrative is always about shutting down compounded formulas, but this is important regardless... especially for people who mix B12 when they're reconstituting tirz. Apparently, there's a concerning level of an impurity when you mix tirzepatide with some forms of vitamin B12, according...

When did the scale finally budge??

Eventually, probably. Unless you don't, of course.

When did the scale finally budge??

I've kept off 144lbs. I hit the gym 14 times a week. Did 460 miles last year. Eating under 1000 cals didn’t make my body hoard fat or water. Less eating and more working out is how you drop weight. I lost weight the first week but I was pretty heavy and my workout intensity was high.

Tirz vs Sema for mental health?

Totally normal. Body image issues are super common after significant weight loss. It takes time for your brain to adjust. Seeing a therapist can really help with that.

Tirz vs Sema for mental health?

Mood fluctuations with these meds aren't uncommon. They influence appetite and reward pathways, so for some, that can manifest as anxiety, emotional numbness, or lack of motivation. The fact that people in this thread are reporting opposite experiences really shows how unique it is to each...

Tirz vs Sema for mental health?

I was considering tirzepatide, but my nurse mentioned that their patients seemed to do *worse* on it compared to semaglutide (which I had a terrible experience with for 9 months). I'm holding off for now.

    Down a C-note + New Job!

I've been on a GLP-1 for about a year and a half and it's changed everything. Seriously, stick with it, everyone. It's worth it!
