Food noise is back - help!

It's amazing how much less food I need now. I had a small portion of low-lactose cheese for lunch with some baby carrots. That small amount kept me feeling good all day.

    Seeing real changes! 😊

I started back in November on a similar med. I'm at 1mg now. Just had my checkup. My A1c was 8.9 before, now it's 6.2! Also I'm down about 14 pounds. Side effects have been pretty minor. My doctor actually lowered my dosage for metformin and some of my blood pressure meds. Insurance is covering...

Food noise is back - help!

The reason to increase your dose is med tolerance, not merely weight reduction. You should stay ahead of the cravings during the titration phase, not lag behind them. You're playing catch-up now. You'll get there, but remember the core rule: titrate due to tolerance, not only for more weight loss.

    Insurance won't pay anymore :(

I totally get that fear! After our denial, my husband and I looked into cheaper options. It's tough, but don't panic yet. There are options, even if they aren't ideal. Keep fighting for coverage!

Real food on 1.7mg - what do YOU eat?

I didn't realize how bad my nutrition was until I started reading these posts. I need to get back on track, but it's kind of overwhelming. I eat mostly Greek yogurt, peanut butter toast, and protein shakes. It's easy when I'm busy taking care of my kids.

    Insurance won't pay anymore :(

Our 'premium' insurance decided last year that GLP-1s are a no-go for everyone. My hubby has practically every risk factor going – high blood pressure, cholesterol, apnea, pre-diabetes. Denied, appealed, doctors swore he was perfect. Still no. Just wanted to say I feel your pain. This stinks.

Real food on 1.7mg - what do YOU eat?

That's very interesting. Like you, I'm also eating cold foods (I have to get those in first since nothing else sounds good). I have completely stopped eating fast food since it doesn't seem or look good anymore. Without the meds, all those cravings for cheese fries and burgers would come back...

I agree with Strong_Loop, consistency is key. Even a pound a week makes a huge difference over time.

    Ozempic messing with my head?

It's possible [mention=Nicky37], some people report anxiety with both BPC-157 and semaglutide. Everyone reacts differently to these meds.

    AHK-Cu injectible, anyone tried?

I've seen some things about sermorelin. Someone told me you need to take GHRP-2 or 6 with it to actually make it work? Is that true?

    AHK-Cu injectible, anyone tried?

I've also been wondering about injecting AHK-CU subq. I seem to be losing a lot of hair lately and it was already pretty thin. I don't think I dropped weight too quickly. This has been happening for 3-4 months. If you learn anything, please share! I'm very interested in the results of injectable...

    Almost at my goal weight!

JuiceSet664 Thanks for sharing the details! It's helpful to know the timeline and dosage. Loose skin is a common concern. Some people find that incorporating strength training helps. Keep up the amazing work!

    Questionable cart sterility?

Chatting with your pharmacist is a great idea. Some people have zero issues, so don't stress too much! Pay attention to your body after eating. Talk to your doc about anti-nausea meds if you need 'em.

    Ipam/Sermo Experiences?

Tesamorelin can help with fatty liver, very similar to Ipamorelin, and commonly paired. Branded Tesamorelin (Egrifta) treats lipodystrophy in HIV patients. Ipamorelin helps with weight loss, too. Tesofensine, a serotonin and dopamine reuptake inhibitor, aids in weight loss. This combo is often...
