    Pics & progress!

That's a good question. I'm curious about that too. I'm considering starting on one of these meds.

    Pics & progress!

You're beautiful in every picture, but you look more confident as you progress. That's what really counts. Thanks for sharing your progress. I needed to see this today. I wish you the best going forward.

Major weight loss & jaw surgery...new me!

You look like you weigh under 160. Did you say you're at 240? And you need to lose 45?

    Ozempic plateau - anyone else?

Yep, your body gets used to the dose over time! That's why you have to go up in dosage. Usually, there's a limit though... Weight loss really slows or stops after a couple of years. I think that's partly why I plateaued too.

    Ozempic plateau - anyone else?

It's frustrating when that happens to everyone on GLP-1 meds or not. You have to change something: the foods, when you eat, water, maybe try biking for 15 minutes after lifting (my son swears by it), stress, calories, steps, sleep, training... It's different for everyone, but change something...

    Ozempic plateau - anyone else?

Maybe try reverse dieting, slowly adding 100-200 calories until you find your maintenance level. Stay there for 5-6 weeks. This can help your body reset and accept the new "setpoint". Hit goal weight, avoiding cardio

That's a great question! I'm working with my doctor to slowly taper off the medication while focusing on diet and strength training to maintain my results. We'll see how it goes!

    My Weight Loss Story

I've mentioned this before, but I only really showed my full transformation from overweight to where I am now. Before starting the injections, I managed to lose a significant amount using a calorie-counting program. I started the shots around spring and have been able to stay at my current...

Reta or Tirz for Gut Issues?

I love Reta. After dealing with insomnia and major constipation on Tirz, Reta keeps things moving regularly. Although I do take Magnesium citrate every day.

Reta or Tirz for Gut Issues?

Reta keeps me more regular. Tirz really messed with my digestive system.

I feel like a new person!

Sweet cravings can sometimes mean you're dehydrated. Try drinking more water before reaching for the ice cream. Also, maybe get your minerals checked?

I feel like a new person!

Book an appointment with a dermatologist and get those skin tags checked out. Take good care of yourself; you're worth it.
