    Considering stopping GLP-1... anyone else?

That's not necessarily true for everyone. Some research suggests that after using these medications, some people experience lasting changes in their appetite regulation, even after stopping. Everyone responds differently.

I'm glad to see more people are starting on this medication. It's wild how many folks don't realize obesity is a real medical issue. Congrats on taking charge of your health!

I didn’t have a ton of weight to lose but it really did help lessen cravings and calm inflammation.

Just started Oz... is this normal?

Hi all. I (41f, 6' 1", 315lbs) was just prescribed .25mg Ozempic this week and took my first dose 2 nights ago. My doctor prescribed it for T2 Diabetes. I’m also taking Metformin 2000mg daily, which I’ve been doing for over a year. For the past 48 hours, I’ve had zero appetite. I feel hunger...

    Considering stopping GLP-1... anyone else?

Maybe try not relying on motivation so much. I’m over a year into this process and I basically just force myself to do the steps, day after day. Motivation is just a bonus if I happen to have it.

    Considering stopping GLP-1... anyone else?

This is a pretty typical complaint I hear about these meds. The appetite suppression is amazing for losing weight, but it can also kill your motivation for food and working out. If you're not getting enough calories, it makes sense that your drive to train would diminish. If you're feeling...

Best of luck on your journey! I'm ten months in and down about 40 lbs. It affects everyone differently, but most people see some kind of results.

    Reta/Tirz Cycles - am I crazy?

Same. I'm open about using tirz at work, and people tell me what they're on. If they're on sema, I think they haven't read about tirz. Why would anyone be on sema when tirz exists? Some people have good results with sema with few side effects, but I hear about how sema doesn't work well and has...

    Reta/Tirz Cycles - am I crazy?

I think if Tirzepatide is working, you should stick with it. The only exception might be if you have side effects you want to deal with, or if you want to try a single vial of reta to see if it works for you, so you can stock up in case it's good for you in the future. Tirzepatide has gone...

    Anyone used that one store?

Pens are way easier for travel and the needle anxiety is real for a lot of us. The syringe waste adds up fast too. Havent found much advantage between models personally.

    Oral Wegovy Approved!

I don't have a problem with needles, but some people do and won't 'just try it'.

    Oral Wegovy Approved!

Like I said, Kelly1976, some people are scared of needles. It could also be a good maintenance option. It might work for people who want to lose 8-15% of their weight. Won't work for me - need to lose more. But oral GLP's will be big.

    Oral Wegovy Approved!

    Some people don't like needles.

    Oral Wegovy Approved!

I'd much rather take a shot once a week than a pill every day.
