    Rybelsus - one week in!

Thanks Charlie_18, good to know. I'm a bit worried about the transition. I've been reading about the pros and cons of these drugs. It's really for people with health issues related to their weight, not just for cosmetic reasons. Gotta keep that in mind, especially with potential risks.

Sema working even with a good diet?

Yeah, it can. I was eating a super clean diet before starting - all home-cooked meals, tons of vegetables and fruit. I also did cardio four days a week, plus strength workouts three days a week, and trained for long distance races. Even with all that, I slowly gained weight. Now, I'm still...

Is this weight loss too fast?

I agree with LeanLady. Everyone's body responds differently. Factors like starting weight, diet, exercise, and even genetics all play a role.

Reta Dosage & Weight Loss - What to Expect?

Oh, also, I recently started taking Ritalin and Wellbutrin for ADHD, so that's probably also cutting my appetite and adding to the weight loss.

What do you eat on the tough days?

Agreed. Very tough to sustain that. You'll likely lose muscle mass and feel terrible. I aim for at least 1500, focusing on protein and nutrient-dense foods.

    Thigh injection spot?

The needles they give you with those pens are ridiculously short, you're not even close to hitting muscle. They barely get past the skin into the subcutaneous fat. That being said, and I'm not a physician, the inside of the thigh can be pretty sensitive. You might not like poking it, and the...

Reta Dosage & Weight Loss - What to Expect?

Quick update: Actually at 13lbs lost now. Dropped from 164 to 151lbs. My strength feels okay, but I definitely get tired faster - feels like I'm holding onto muscle but my stamina is way down.

Is this weight loss too fast?

Sounds pretty good. I was at a lower starting point of 154, and I lost roughly 6 pounds in week one and 11 pounds after a month. Keep up the great work and good luck!

Reta Dosage & Weight Loss - What to Expect?

Curious about everyone's starting dose on reta and how much they dropped in the initial month or two. I'm a little over 3 weeks in at 2mg weekly and down around 11lbs. the retatrutide dosing thread lays out what to expect dose by dose

What do you eat on the tough days?

I just skip eating when I feel bad. I have enough stored energy on my body anyway.

What do you eat on the tough days?

I lean on protein shakes, supplements, yogurt, crackers, a spoonful of peanut butter, some cheese, or a protein bar. Bland things work best. I had a rough day yesterday with zero appetite after a morning workout. I need to keep my protein intake up or I'll be totally wiped by evening.

Hunger creeping back after day 5?

Hunger creeping back after day 5?

Started last Thursday on the lowest dose. Sometimes my stomach is a bit off and I feel tired. Today's day 5 and I could definitely eat more, but I'm managing. I've dropped about 8 lbs which is amazing! I used to take kradom, 7oh for about a year which is supposed to mess with your hormones...

    Total glow-up!

Remember that non-scale victories (NSVs) are just as important as the numbers on the scale. Fitting into a smaller size, noticing changes in your face, these are all signs of progress!

    Done with Mounjaro... for now!

It's so inspiring to hear success stories like yours! I've been feeling a bit discouraged lately because the scale hasn't been moving as quickly as I'd like. But I'm trying to remember that fat loss isn't always linear, and sometimes the scale doesn't reflect the progress we're making. I totally...
