    GLP-1 shots every 5 or 6 days?

I've done both 5 and 6 days depending on my dosage. When I was on 10mg, but not ready for 12.5mg, I went to every 5 days. Then back to every 6 at 12.5mg. I like to change things up to keep my body guessing! 😉

    Generic weight loss shots?

Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist; tirzepatide is a GLP-1 *and* GIP receptor agonist. Some data suggests the dual action of tirzepatide leads to greater weight loss and improved blood sugar control, but more studies are needed. Also, side effect profiles may differ somewhat between the two.

    Generic weight loss shots?

Interesting economic angle, FiberWine. I also read that there are lawsuits popping up related to severe side effects. Seems like we need to weigh the benefits against the risks carefully.

    Down 50+ lbs! Birthday win!

Indeed, I concur with Gene_Sis. Gradual weight reduction, roughly 1-2 pounds weekly, tends to yield more sustainable outcomes for the majority of patients. Rapid weight loss can sometimes lead to undesired effects.

Reta or Tirz for Gut Issues?

I will say, for constipation, prunes are your friend. That said, I have seen people mention osmotic laxatives, such as milk of magnesia, can be quite helpful for GLP-1 induced constipation. They help to pull water in.

    Crazy cheap T60? Sketchy?

I'm lucky enough to have insurance through my job that covers most of it, but I've heard others paying like, hundreds more.

    Crazy cheap T60? Sketchy?

I got a kit of 100mg. I'm taking 15mg/week and my husband is taking 10mg/week so it lasts a month. Works for us. If he upped his dose, I'd get the 120mg kit. But I agree, it's impractical if it's just one person.

Reta or Tirz for Gut Issues?

Greetings from Germany! I began my weight loss journey at the start of 2024, using a similar medication before switching to tirzepatide. 7.5 mg per week worked well. Around mid-year, I discovered retatrutide and decided to give it a try, with very positive results. I began at 289 lbs (131 kg)...

    Seeing real changes!

It is important to remember that results vary among individuals and to stay the course. I saw someone else mention that their nose slimmed down. That is very interesting!

    Tirz underperforming? 🥺

If this is your first month on the medication, hold the line; 2.5mg a week and don't change things. Don't inject early. Month 1 is the loading dose. You may or may not feel anything; that's normal. It takes time for the drug to accumulate in your system. I lost 3-4 pounds with minimal side...
