    Face gains: down 100+ lbs!

You're doing great! My advice, especially with the goal in sight, is to start exercising NOW if you aren't already. Particularly weight-bearing exercises. You need to build that muscle to prevent losing it. I'm maintaining my weight now but I've lost some muscle and have loose skin. If I had...

    Sema just not cutting it?

Yes, being cold all the time is a super common side effect. It could be the meds, the calorie deficit, or just losing some insulation... possibly all of the above!

    Sema just not cutting it?

I can totally relate. I didn’t feel a thing until I hit 1.7mg. It was like my body just ignored the lower doses. I’m at 2.0mg now, and the appetite suppression is there, but like you said, it barely lasts a day or two. Then it’s back to normal cravings and food noise. It's super frustrating.

Compounded tirz blues? Red Rock switch-up

That's the problem, isn't it? Access and affordability. But everyone needs to be super careful with the compounded stuff. There are some big concerns about safety and quality compared to the FDA-approved meds. The Obesity Society had a whole meeting about it.

Compounded tirz blues? Red Rock switch-up

Weird. I was on compounded Red Rock for the first couple of months and it worked great for me. But everyone is different, I guess.

Down 35 lbs in 3 Months - Sharing My Journey!

For folks doing strength training, remember that can really help with body composition during weight loss. It's great you're already doing that! Muscle burns more calories at rest, and it can help minimize muscle loss while on GLP-1s.

    Slow losers, unite!

Bobby45 It might be worth talking to your doctor about increasing your dosage if you're still feeling hungry on 1mg. Everyone's different, and you might need a higher dose to get the full effect. Also, focus on protein and fiber to help you feel fuller longer! Good luck – you CAN do this!

    Slow losers, unite!

Bobby45 Thanks! The side effects weren't too bad. I got a little nauseous at first, but it went away after a few weeks. Just make sure to stay hydrated and eat small meals.

Just a heads-up, you might want to budget for some new clothes down the road. All those savings might disappear into a new wardrobe!

    Slow losers, unite!

That's amazing progress!! 🤩 I've noticed the rate slows as you near your goal weight. I'm currently at your starting weight of 166 (down from 233), and the loss is definitely slowing. Keep it up! Slowly but surely! 🙌
