    Vanishing glutes - anyone else??

Squats, step ups, weighted hip raises, lunges are my focus. I slacked off the gym, which explains it.

    Vanishing glutes - anyone else??

Years ago, a coworker complained that her boobs shrank every time she dieted, and her butt expanded when she stopped. I'm male with round butt genes, so fat goes to my midsection instead. My dad, a child of the Depression, would say people with small butts were "taking that wonder drug...

    Vanishing glutes - anyone else??

I've been seriously considering padded underwear.

    Vanishing glutes - anyone else??

I can't picture a dinosaur scrotum, so I'm having trouble with the imagery.

    Vanishing glutes - anyone else??

It really is! It's uncomfortable to sit anywhere that isn't soft. I am considering buying extra padding.

    Vanishing glutes - anyone else??

I hit my goal weight and then some, but my rear end seems to have disappeared. I've checked everywhere – work, home, even the car. Nada. I miss having some cushion. Anyone else experience this? Is it gone forever, or can I get it back somehow?

Hit my goal!! Down 40lbs 😁

I haven't really, other than some initial nausea, but that went away after a few weeks. I make sure to stay hydrated and eat smaller meals to help prevent it.

Hit my goal!! Down 40lbs 😁

SW: 220 CW: 180 GW: 140 (5'6") I can't believe I'm saying this, I was in a bad place, feeling stuck and powerless. This med has been a total game-changer. I've dropped about 40 pounds over the last 5 months, and I'm aiming for 40 more. I've sized down twice and I feel so much better about...

I'm so encouraged by these stories! I've dropped about 45 pounds myself and it's helped me sleep and feel less out of breath. The food noise is finally quiet!

    Tip your PT?

Good to know! I'm hoping that's what it will do for me too. I need the appointments on the calendar to keep me going. It's so easy to skip a workout when you are on your own. I should have started this months ago!

    Tip your PT?

I've never heard of anyone tipping their dentist. It's not normal to tip medical professionals. But patients might give a gift card or bake something during the holidays. Do trainers fall in the same category as medical professionals? Their business model is different, and they usually aren't...

    Tip your PT?

Those of you who have trainers, how often do you see them? Once a week?

    Tip your PT?

It's not about being able to afford it. I could tip my endo but it's not appropriate. I'm trying to figure out what category PTs are in -- endo or massage tip territory? Seems they're more like mail carriers -- not expected, always appreciated, and maybe a gift around the holidays.
