Tired after upping Tirz dose - anyone else?

Fatigue at 7.5mg in the first couple of weeks is normal - the body is adjusting to the new dose level. If it's been more than 3 weeks and it's still hitting hard, dropping back to 5mg for another month and re-titrating slower is the standard path.

    Vision probs on Reta?

Blood sugar leveling out is the most common cause of vision changes on these meds.

GHK-cu: Did I expect too much?

GHK-cu outcomes at 6 weeks at 2mg vary - skin effects are the most consistent, while systemic connective tissue and anti-inflammatory effects have a longer onset window. The technique issue with red lumps from diagonal subcutaneous injection is usually angle and depth; pinching with 90-degree...

Down 10lbs in 6 weeks - Feeling Great!

Good question, Vinnie33. I haven't been working out any more than usual, mainly just walking. So I'd say the weight loss is mostly due to the medication suppressing my appetite and cravings.

Down 10lbs in 6 weeks - Feeling Great!

That's a good question Funky-King! I haven't really noticed anything in my face yet, to be honest. I've been so focused on the scale and clothes fitting better. Maybe I'll take some before/after pics to compare!

Down 10lbs in 6 weeks - Feeling Great!

Hi everyone! 26F, 5'8". Started at 192 lbs, now 182.5 lbs, hoping to get to 160 lbs. Six weeks on this med and I'm thrilled! Started on Jan 21st. I've been taking 0.25 mg weekly for six weeks. Had a bit of tummy trouble after the first couple of doses, but nothing since. My doctor suggested...

Wow, Charlie41, that's incredibly inspiring! Congratulations on all your hard work!

    Finally feel like I'm winning!

Pure-Quest, thanks for the thoughtful reply! To clarify, it was a mix of their words and my own feelings, I think. They would say things like, "We really need to see better control," and I'd feel like I was failing. It's a relief to have a doctor who's more encouraging now.

    Sulphur Burps From Heck!

I get sulphur burps badly every time I increase my dose, except now at 1mg because I'm too nauseous to eat much. They're awful.

Day 5 and the monster is back

I've been trying to cut back on processed foods, and it really does make a difference. I found that stuff just made me want to eat more. Now I focus on whole foods, like fruits, veggies, and lean protein.

    Finally feel like I'm winning!

I've had type 2 diabetes for what feels like forever. I could never seem to get my blood sugar under control, and my doctors always seemed frustrated with me. I hated the lows and then overcorrecting with too much sugar. After too many lectures, I basically gave up trying for a couple of years...

Day 5 and the monster is back

Relax! Progress through the doses. It works for most people. You might have to put in extra effort for a couple of days each week to stay on track. But it's better than struggling every single day like you were before.

    Sulphur Burps From Heck!

I can't stop laughing, I'm so sorry... Pizza crust made me burpy as heck. I would burp while sleeping and passed gas way too much...but since I'm basically three 12-year-olds stacked in a trench coat, I thought it was hilarious rather than mortifying. I hope you can figure out a fix!

Switching to Reta - dosage Qs

I was on Tirzepatide until last week. Used it pretty much the entire month before; my final 2 weeks were at 3mg. Started Retatrutide this week at 2mg and I'm planning on staying at 2mg for this month, maybe going up to 4mg next month if needed. I'm basically following the dosing schedule from...

    First time with Ozempic--advice?

I will say that for me, the worst of potential negative effects seem to kick in on day two or three after the injection. The second week is easier though!

    First time with Ozempic--advice?

Remember in the beginning that you can't eat as much as you used to, especially for the first few days. For the first 2-3 days, deliberately eat a smaller amount. If you're still hungry, have another small portion later. I've had a little nausea here and there, but it seems to happen when I eat...
