Is research sema the cheapest GLP-1?

My recent order a few days ago for T30 was a good price while it was on sale, but the sale just ended today, so now it's higher. Plus shipping. Sometimes people pay a higher price because they don't pay attention to promotions. It's a tax for being uninformed.

    Insurance probs & alternatives?

I get my Ozempic from Canada. My doctor suggested it since it's too expensive here in the States. She writes me a script for a 4ml pen. It costs $429 and lasts for 2-3 months because I use a small dose (.25 - .50). They also carry Wegovy, Zepbound, Monjaro... Good luck with your weight reduction...

GLP-1 Start: Dosing Q's and Concerns!

Yeah, the nausea can be a thing at first. I had it for like 3 days and then it was gone. Now I just get the burps. Big, loud, obnoxious burps. Lol. But otherwise, I'm good.

GLP-1 Start: Dosing Q's and Concerns!

I'd suggest choosing only one to begin with, then gradually increasing the dose to the maximum. If it's not effective enough, consider adding another. Typical starting points: Sema: 0.25mg Tirz: 2.5mg Reta: Perhaps 2mg

    Gelzempic - monthly shot?

Wow, $3 a month to produce? That's wild. Even with markups, it should bring the retail costs down significantly, hopefully making it more accessible to people.

    Gelzempic - monthly shot?

You're probably right, it's always something to consider. Personally, if I had the choice between a daily pill and a once-a-month injection, I'd lean towards the monthly shot. At least once I got my dosage right and didn't need to tweak it.

    Gelzempic - monthly shot?

Saw this pop up... still in very early stages, it seems. https://gizmodo.com/gelzempic-could-make-popular-weight-loss-drugs-easier-to-take-2000495641 Thoughts? 🤔 I'm always a bit wary of meds that hang around for extended periods... especially when some folks struggle to dial in their weekly...

    Down 40, halfway there!

Okay, so the before and after pics aren't my best look, but hey, it's real life. Six months ago I was sitting at 230, and now I'm chilling at 190. Still got around 50 to go! Started with 0.25mg for a month, then 0.5mg for a couple, and now 1.0mg for the past three. Haven't gone up to the max...

Lilly Warns About Fake Weight Loss Meds!

I'm a bit concerned about the long-term effectiveness of these medications. If they lose their power over time, like some folks are saying about Ozempic, what happens then?

    Ozempic prices too damn high!

It annoys me that nobody paid attention until a weight loss medication was developed by a foreign company.

    Ozempic prices too damn high!

I travel back to Canada to get mine! It's like $200 CAD for a 1mg dose.
