Down 80+ lbs - Still Going!

From my experience, the appetite reduction from these meds is significant. I used to think about food constantly, now I have to remind myself to eat. It also helps to eat within a calorie deficit calculated with the TDEE calculator, at least 100g of protein daily, 80-100oz of water, and 25g of...

    Vacation & GLP-1s: A Cautionary Tale

Just a heads up - if you're on blended peptides and using a calculator, be super careful with the values. It's easy to mess up the dosage, especially with blends. I had to play around with the numbers to get the right amount. Double-check everything!

    Vacation & GLP-1s: A Cautionary Tale

Yeah, it hangs around in your system for weeks, so I never got why people skip meds for vacation. I learned that lesson (with alcohol) on a trip once and woof did I pay the price lol. Even after I stopped taking it, it took maybe a month before I could eat a normal portion again.

    Vacation & GLP-1s: A Cautionary Tale

Thanks for the lovely image of "projectile vomiting." Reminds me of when I was on Rybelsus. I knew the nausea was a possibility, but didn't expect The Exorcist levels of it.

    Down 50lb! Weight loss update

I had a major NSV the other day. 50lbs ago, I would've had to max out the seatbelt. It felt great not having to worry about whether I could even buckle the thing, or having the arm rests digging into my sides! Anyone else experience this?

    Down 50lb! Weight loss update

I used to be pushing 400lb. So embarassing to admit. But thanks to this amazing medication it's going in reverse. My lower back pain has disappeared, I'm sleeping like a baby and my diet has totally changed. I didn't believe people when they said the cravings for junk food just vanished!

Almout: What I Learned Losing 40+ lbs

I agree with Avery_58, maintenance is the biggest concern. It's not just about the drug; it's also about lifestyle changes. We need to be sure we're developing good habits too. The medication is only an aid, not a permanent solution.

    SLU-PP-332 & Other new PEDs?

I agree completely. Anecdotal reports are interesting, but without rigorous clinical trials, it's impossible to truly assess the safety and efficacy of SLU-PP-332. The long-term effects, in particular, are unknown, and the potential for off-target effects needs to be thoroughly investigated.
