In early '23, I had a procedure to open up a blocked artery, and that let me start exercising and drop some weight after years of inactivity. I was around 300 lbs when I began cardiac rehab in March. I managed to drop almost 50 lbs in about half a year, but then I hit a wall and couldn't lose...

I'm only a month and a half in. Cutting calories to about 1600 a day and working out most days, running and lifting weights. Mostly walking but I'm trying to get better on the bike. Down from 278 to 258 so far! Still have a ways to go, but I'm happy.

If I may be so bold, it's not just the weight that I see. It's a healthier confidence. It's energy. It's everything. It shines right off you! You should be very proud of finding the path to a healthier you! So glad we are all here together on this journey.

Congrats on sticking it out for a year solid. That's a big win all by itself, no matter what the scale says, and the weight loss is definitely showing. But you know what really jumps out? The look in your eyes is different now. You look happier and brighter. And a new hairstyle plus new glasses...
