    Ozempic: My lifeline!

In early '23, I had a procedure to open up a blocked artery, and that let me start exercising and drop some weight after years of inactivity. I was around 300 lbs when I began cardiac rehab in March. I managed to drop almost 50 lbs in about half a year, but then I hit a wall and couldn't lose...

    Sema + life changes = size 8!

I'm only a month and a half in. Cutting calories to about 1600 a day and working out most days, running and lifting weights. Mostly walking but I'm trying to get better on the bike. Down from 278 to 258 so far! Still have a ways to go, but I'm happy.

    Sema + life changes = size 8!

You've obviously been working hard - that back definition is impressive. Well done! BTW, you looked amazing back then too. I don't have any underwear pics of me at my heaviest.

    One year down!

If I may be so bold, it's not just the weight that I see. It's a healthier confidence. It's energy. It's everything. It shines right off you! You should be very proud of finding the path to a healthier you! So glad we are all here together on this journey.

    One year down!

Congrats on sticking it out for a year solid. That's a big win all by itself, no matter what the scale says, and the weight loss is definitely showing. But you know what really jumps out? The look in your eyes is different now. You look happier and brighter. And a new hairstyle plus new glasses...

    Down 60, still goin'!

I'm almost there! Took about a year to shed 60 pounds. Only 40 more to reach my ultimate goal. I initially lost around 30 pounds on my own last year and have since lost another 30 in 3 months using Wegovy. I've worked hard to rethink my relationship with food, drink *so* much water, and learn...

    Ozempic: $5 to make?!

I saw an article about how GLP-1 drugs might even help prevent cancer! Has anyone else seen that?

    Ozempic: $5 to make?!

I heard the company is so big, Denmark publishes GDP numbers with and without including their profits! That's wild.

    GLP-1 meds: Insurance coverage?

My BCBS plan covers my HCG through a specialty pharmacy at Walgreens. I have Carefirst Standard. My urologist said I'm one of a handful of guys in his practice whose insurance covers it. I pay a $65 copay each month. To get it covered, my doctor had to specify it was for secondary hypogonadism...
