    Coming off GLP-1s - tips?

I've been on this medication for more than a year, and I've been keeping a log of what I eat. Now I have a solid understanding of my caloric needs for maintaining or losing weight. I'm hoping this will help me when I stop taking the medication in September (after 2 years total).

    Reta kicking hypertension's butt!

It's all just speculation about the plaque, of course, but fat acts like an adhesive, so who knows? Reta is an amazing tool, and I'm really eager to see the outcomes of the clinical trials.

    Reta kicking hypertension's butt!

I initially started on 0.5mg and have gradually increased to 4mg. I'll likely stay at that level for the time being, Just_Mom.

    Reta kicking hypertension's butt!

About a year ago, my BP was sky high, something like 175/95. After some diet changes and consistent exercise it dropped to 138/86. Now, after about 2 months using Reta and even more weight is gone (thank you very much), it's sitting pretty at 114/77. Literally perfect for a guy my age. Feeling...

    Reta: TRT's New Best Friend?

True, BugGuy128. Glucagon elevates glucose, which may increase cortisol leading to insomnia and anxiety, especially those sensitive to stimulants. The key is the dosage, since Reta has higher affinitiy to GIP and GLP-1

Also, FastingGains, are you using this with physician supervision?

    Reta: TRT's New Best Friend?

Dysesthesia was indeed reported in some trials. The exact cause is unknown, but it is thought that Reta may impact small peripheral nerves. I would recommend B complex and ALA!

Anyone else ditching bad habits on Oz?

Yeah, lots of people are saying it helps with quitting smoking and alcohol. Personally, I drink way less and the effect just isn't the same anymore.

    Questionable Retatrutide?

It's wise to be cautious about the purity of peptides, especially when obtained from research or unregulated sources. Even with a certificate of analysis (CoA) showing high purity, there's always a risk of endotoxin contamination, which can lead to acute reactions. Has anyone here ever...

    Skin Tightening Tips, Pls?

Changes in body fat can shift hormone levels, which might be why you're seeing acne. I'd suggest seeing a dermatologist.

Anyone else ditching bad habits on Oz?

Used to get anxiety about flying, which is ironic since I fly constantly. About a month on Ozempic and it's completely gone.

    Skin Tightening Tips, Pls?

Remember that losing weight too fast will cause more muscle loss and loose skin. The recommendation is about 1% of your body weight each week. At 240lbs, that would be 2.4 lbs a week. It takes longer, but it lets your body adjust.

    Skin Tightening Tips, Pls?

I do GHK-Cu injections, and I can see a difference in my face and neck fine lines. The injections also help with skin elasticity all over. I had a CO2 laser done about 4 years ago on my face and hands with great results. I'm getting it done again on my face, neck, chest, and hands this week...

Reta - When does the magic happen?

I'm a slow responder. 2mg wouldn't do anything for me personally. I don't get results until 6 and 8mg, and even then, it's not dramatic, so I add in some sema too. It took about 3 weeks to start seeing 1 to 2lbs drop off each week.
