Mounjaro side effects got too bad 😭

The stomach side effects at that dose and duration respond to stepping back a level before the pain becomes the reason to stop entirely - a dose reduction is usually enough to reset. The support piece is real and worth addressing separately from the medical question.

Reta REALLY speeding up weight loss?

Acne and eczema flares on Reta are documented enough to be worth taking seriously - there's an androgenic pathway connection that affects some users more than others. The fact that it calmed down after stopping is the clearest signal that Reta was the driver. The quality question is harder to...

Food noise, hunger & GLP-1 reality

The food noise recognition moment is a delayed one for most people - when it quietens you notice its absence first, which is why so many people describe only realizing it was there after the fact. The protein and fiber approach at low-hunger periods is sound: the risk of undereating on GLP-1s is...

Weight loss praise making anyone else uncomfortable?

That's it exactly. The mental load is SO much less. It's worth it for that alone, even aside from the weight loss.

Weight loss praise making anyone else uncomfortable?

Thanks, HealFTW, I'll look into that book! It's good to know I'm not the only one feeling this way.

Weight loss praise making anyone else uncomfortable?

Anyone else feel weird about the comments on their weight loss? It's not like people are being mean, just saying stuff like "you look so different!" or "wow, you're half the man you used to be!" and idk, it's making me feel more awkward than happy. I'm glad I've dropped some weight, and I still...

Upping my dose - kinda scared!

Yeah, HealthLoss, it's about finding what works for you. Don't feel pressured to increase just because a schedule says so.

Upping my dose - kinda scared!

The number of units isn't what matters, it's the MG amount that determines the dose. What's your current dosage in MG?

Scale ain't moving? You're not alone...

It is very important to remember that these meds aren't magic. That is so true! If you're not seeing results, you might need to look at your calorie intake. I've been on Mounjaro for a while, and if I go over my calorie limit, the weight loss stalls out quickly. A TDEE calculator is a good...

Scale ain't moving? You're not alone...

Glad it helped some of you. Been there, done that... many times!

Scale ain't moving? You're not alone...

Just a friendly reminder: weight loss isn't always a straight line down. I hop on the scale every morning to get a good average, and some days I'm up a bit, some days down. Sometimes the number just sits there for days, even when I'm eating right. Gotta trust the process – the scale will...

    Scary rebound after titrating down?

40 pounds down is amazing! I have thought it was pretty crazy how much my body has changed. I need to buy smaller pants now! haha

    Scary rebound after titrating down?

This stuff is kind of addicting, in a way. I lost 40 pounds in 8 months pretty easily... that's kind of scary, right? It's easy, doesn't require working out, just inject yourself, lol. That's what makes it addicting. I hope kids never get hold of this stuff; that would be terrible. I'm a...

    Scary rebound after titrating down?

I'm a little freaked out. I just finished tapering from 2.4 of Wegovy down to 1.7, after being on the higher dose for well over a year. I'm 5'0, started around 155, and got down to 99 lbs. Once I lowered the dose, my appetite came roaring back and I started retaining water, weird stuff like...

    HPT source -- Anyone tried?

I haven't used them yet, but I will. Everything I've seen about them has been positive. That's enough for me to give them a shot.

Reading this thread is so motivating! I started Mounjaro a little over a year ago. It's wild to see how much can change. I feel so much better, my blood sugar is under control, and I can finally say goodbye to that fatty liver issue. It's like a new lease on life! Lost about 60 pounds myself!
