GLP-1: Eating less, still no scale movement

Same thing happened to me. I'm barely overweight anyway and probably shouldn't have been taking it. I got compounded medication online. I don't have the food noise that many people report, so the medication didn't help there, but it killed my appetite. Still, I only lost a couple of pounds in...

GLP-1: Eating less, still no scale movement

I'm two months in, down about 20lbs. I meticulously log everything except green veggies. If I don't track, I don't lose weight. It might be the same for you.

    Ozempic Cost - Ouch!

Paying $850 monthly for Ozempic is a rip-off if you ask me. Consider the compounded forms at around $200 per month, or ask your doctor about Tirzepatide. Many find it works better with fewer adverse effects.

    Pfizer's new GLP-1 shot?

It's a complex situation, Groovy_Lady. The economic impact of these drugs is definitely something to consider. There's also the issue of compounding pharmacies. The FDA is cracking down on compounding certain peptides. It seems like they're trying to control the market more.

    Pfizer's new GLP-1 shot?

The interesting thing is it's a once-a-month injection. That's a convenience factor. But with oral options becoming available, I'm not sure if it'll be a game changer.

Besides the metabolic improvements, I'm definitely looking forward to a reduction in breast tissue. It's quite cumbersome.

    Reconstituting peps - noob q's

Unreconstituted peptides are usually okay outside the fridge for 60 days after manufacture. After that, potency can degrade. Check the manufacturer's guidelines for your specific product. Some say to refrigerate immediately.

Especially Hospira BAC water. Pfizer says to keep it at room temp. For other brands, it's not as clear once it's been opened. People store it both ways.

Reta alone, or stack for faster loss?

While GHK-cu might help, remember that genetics, age, and skin elasticity all play a role. Slow and steady weight loss is generally the best approach for minimizing loose skin.
