    Down 8 stone! Feeling amazing!

that's fantastic work! was on semaglutide for three months, lost about 23 pounds, but the cost became impossible to manage. found a more affordable option overseas and picked it back up - two weeks in now and already down another three pounds. feels good to be back on it.

    GLP-1: Unlocking Hidden Talents?

I'm down about 85 pounds, since April. I feel healthier than I have in a decade. My BP is stable, I can play with my kids without getting winded, and I sleep better. It's a huge game changer.

    GLP-1: Unlocking Hidden Talents?

YES! I can finally sit cross-legged on the floor comfortably again. Haven't been able to do that in years. It's amazing how much more flexible I feel.

    Sema side effect: gray hair?

I'm down about 50 pounds since the start of the year. It's amazing, but I'm starting to get that 'Ozempic face' thing I've heard about. Anyone else experience that?

    Sema side effect: gray hair?

Lack of B vitamins can also cause gray hair. It's always good to supplement, especially when on sema!

    First week - Feeling hopeful!

YES! I did the same thing. I walked down the candy aisle at the store and I was just...meh. Didn't buy a thing. It was a really strange feeling, but a good one!

Mounjaro pen clicks - how many?

Thanks for all the comments... So much to take in. I'm pleased I managed to source needles to extract the golden dose as my doc refused to prescribe the needles.

    Ozempic rebound - anyone else?

Lots of people take a very small dose instead of stopping completely.

    First week - Feeling hopeful!

Thanks for the replies, everyone! It's really encouraging to hear about other people's experiences, both good and bad. Keeping my fingers crossed that the positive effects keep building.

Mounjaro pen clicks - how many?

I'm on 10mg pens, but only taking 2.5mg weekly, basically it's like 16 doses. I spoke to my doctor who confirmed that it doesn't 'expire' quicker than stated on the pen.

    Ozempic rebound - anyone else?

It's like saying, "I stopped my cholesterol meds and my cholesterol went up! I thought my heart had learned to maintain healthy levels!” It's a chronic condition that needs ongoing treatment. Stop the treatment, and things go back to where they were.

    First week - Feeling hopeful!

Just finishing up week one, and I'm surprised by the changes already. My hunger is there, but it's much quieter, the constant thinking about food is less intense, and I'm eating smaller portions without even trying. It’s subtle but definitely there. I feel more in control, not like I'm...

    Reta: Split Doses vs. Weekly?

I hear you about the cost. And it's not just the money, it's the mental cost of having to rely on something forever. I'm hoping reta can help me get to a point where I don't need anything.

    Reta: Split Doses vs. Weekly?

I know I should move on, but after more digging, here's what I found about semaglutide in published trials, models, and results. First, a Phase 2 trial used daily semaglutide, 0.4 mg/day (2.8 mg/week total). It found a −13.8% weight loss at 52 weeks. Second, a Phase 3 trial used weekly 2.4...

    Reta: Split Doses vs. Weekly?

Thanks! Super real. Thanks! I know I don't have much experience to talk about this, but I want to find answers. I've been reading lots of scientific stuff, including emailing about 10 researchers from 10 different reta articles, so I'll share something soon on the weekly vs twice weekly thing...

    Reta: Split Doses vs. Weekly?

I see that as a good thing about reta, helping you build better eating habits. I've been on tirz for 15 months and was going to switch to reta for maintenance, but tirz lets me eat "bad" food too much, which is a crutch.
