2mg Ozempic - Anyone been there?

Thanks for the advice, FTW and Rene_1995. My weight loss hasn't stalled exactly, but it has slowed down a bit. That's a good point about running out of options if I jump to 2mg too quickly. Maybe I will try the 1.5mg like Rene_1995 suggested for a while.

2mg Ozempic - Anyone been there?

Hey all, I've been taking Ozempic since July of '25. Started at 0.5mg, then 1.0mg, and just saw my doc yesterday. I asked her about going to 2.0mg since I'm doing pretty awesome on 1.0 and haven't had any side effects. She said we could give it a shot if I want. I've dropped 33 lbs since...

    Ozempic making people blind?!

For me, cannabis seems to shut off the Sema effects temporarily. The munchies take over, and I overeat. Not fun the next day! My wife is on tirz and says edibles take an hour longer for her. I use cannabis to combat nausea, so maybe that's something to consider.

    Ozempic making people blind?!

Interesting about the Tirzepatide and vision changes DenverDiva82. I wonder if things like Retinalamin could help, but it's definitely not a replacement for standard treatments. Saw one thing that stood out:

    Ozempic making people blind?!

Isn't vision loss a known complication of diabetes itself, regardless of the medication?

Down 60lbs in 6 months - still going!

It's important to remember that we all have good and bad weeks. It's about moderation and balance. I went from 300+ lbs to 175 lbs. Don't get too hard on yourself.

Down 60lbs in 6 months - still going!

I'm curious, Chris02, how are people losing so much weight using this stuff? I've only managed to lose 25 pounds this year, and I'm not sure how others are achieving better results. Do you happen to be taking a high dose, and are you wealthy? I can't afford a constantly increasing dose.

Whoa, didn't think I'd get these results!

Have you considered lipedema? I have it, and your arm shape looks similar to mine compared to your body. It's often missed.

    Anyone else CRUSHING it?!

The first time I tried Ozempic, the side effects were unbearable. I did lose 35 lbs, but it wasn't worth feeling so awful. This time, I listened to my doctor and focused on eating right. I've gone from 220 to 170 in 3 months so far. I changed my diet, stopped overeating, and the sulfur burps are...

    Brain ain't catchin' up! Help!

I was lucky, not too much loose skin. Staying hydrated, lifting weights, and time are what I'd recommend.
