Reta Schedule - too much hunger?

Thanks! I'll look into that. I'm always open to new options, especially if the Reta starts to lose its effectiveness.

    GLP-1 break: good idea?

I know that feeling... I'm the same. My initial goal was 187 lbs, but now I'm at 183 and aiming for 172 lbs… then maintenance...

    GLP-1 break: good idea?

I appreciate your input. I think you're likely to succeed. It's clear that you have a very well-defined, detailed, and ongoing plan. It's not just "I'll inject this stuff and fat will vanish." My body responds far better when I have a holistic plan with goals that extend beyond just reaching my...

    GLP-1 break: good idea?

What's your long-term plan? You can't really increase the dose much more at this point, right?

Reta Schedule - too much hunger?

Hi everyone - I'm new to this whole GLP-1 thing. I've been on Retatrutide for maybe a month and a half, and I've worked my way up to 1mg every four days. So, if I inject on a Monday, my next shot is on Friday. I've been at this level for about three weeks now. I've noticed that the day before...

    GLP-1 break: good idea?

Yeah, I've read similar stories myself. I've now combined tirzepatide with reta, and it's pushing through the plateau. Once I reach my goal, I'll stop the reta and maintain with tirzepatide... for how long, I'm undecided... Maybe a year... But I'm going to try and avoid a break.

    GLP-1 break: good idea?

Yeah, I'm getting mine from a similar source. I've actually added tirzepatide to my retatrutide, and it's helping me shed those last few pounds after hitting a plateau. I doubt I'll take a break now; maybe I'll just maintain for a while and then lower the dose of tirzepatide only.

    GLP-1 break: good idea?

Why are you taking such low doses of both, though? Wouldn't it be better to increase the dose of just one first?

    GLP-1 break: good idea?

Me too. I've decided to just combine tirzepatide with my retatrutide for now, but eventually, I'll either have to lower to a maintenance dose or take a break. The opinions seem to be all over the place.

    GLP-1 break: good idea?

That's exactly what I've been reading. Instead of taking a break, I've decided to add tirzepatide to my current high dose of retatrutide. I'm trying to lose those last few stubborn pounds. I'm concerned that if I take a break, it'll be less effective the second time around.

    GLP-1 break: good idea?

Has anyone been on a substantial dose of tirzepatide or retatrutide, only to experience a plateau and then opted for a 'reset' break? If so, how long did you take off, and did it yield positive results?

Down to the 170s on Zep!

That's a fantastic NSV (non-scale victory)! Those kinds of changes make such a difference in daily life.

    Ozempic face a myth?

Yep, I've noticed more hair coming out when I wash it too. Not sure what to do about it.

    Ozempic face a myth?

Congrats! And yes, protein is KEY. I was told to eat high-protein foods, not shakes. But, let's be real, the nausea makes that tough sometimes. Protein shakes have been a lifesaver for me.

Anyone else dealing with, um, digestive issues? I've been reading about it and it seems common. Any tips? Asking for a friend... 😉

    Ozempic face a myth?

Great job! I think the 'Ozempic face' thing is more about older folks losing weight rapidly. Younger skin bounces back faster.

From Chubby to Garage Fridge Commando

That's totally me! At 6'2", I didn't think I was doing too bad. But it was always a diet away from where I wanted to be (or so I thought). Getting older, it's not as easy to change. I'd eat all day long. Healthy? No way. Anything and everything. That food noise was constant. What's next? After...
