Newbie question here (male, just started last month).
If I am about 80 lbs overweight and just walking right now, am I going to lose a ton of muscle before I even "get serious" with lifting?
This part made me nervous:
Should I rush into lifting even if I feel out of shape?
Just sent my mom this text: "Hey Ma, who's the chubby dude standing next to you? He needs to shed some pounds!"
Making myself happy is great, but freaking out my family with my new look? Even better!
Where there's optimism, there's a path forward.
