    3 Months Sema - Thoughts?

You look fantastic! Have you thought about skin removal after your weight loss?

    GLP-1s & my liver's like, YES!

That's a great idea! I'm a data nerd myself, so I totally get wanting to track body composition changes with a DEXA scan. It would be cool if doctors suggested them yearly for people on these meds.

    GLP-1s & my liver's like, YES!

That's awesome news! I'm getting my blood work done this week and will compare the results to my previous tests before starting Mounjaro. I'll post an update here.

    GLP-1s & my liver's like, YES!

Those liver readings are fantastic. I'd almost trade something to have triglycerides that low... mine were sky high for a while and are just starting to come down. I wonder if it's the GLP-1 itself, or just the weight loss that's helping your liver. Probably a combo of both.

    Tirzep Vials - fridge ok?

Some people swear by them, others don't see much. If you're getting it at cost, it's worth a try. Just be sure to manage your expectations. Diet and exercise are still key!

    Tirzep Vials - fridge ok?

Sounds like the one from SSA. I think they all come in 10ml vials. You don't need *that* much water to mix it. Like 0.5ml (50 units) per dose, or 5ml (500 units) total, is plenty. Some tips: - Wash your hands and clean your work area with alcohol. - Don't leave the vial out of the fridge for...

    Down 85 in 7 months!

These GLP-1 meds are really interesting. I know someone who dropped about 45 pounds in about 5 months. They're still working towards their goal weight. It's really inspiring!

    Down 85 in 7 months!

Incredible transformation! You looked great before, but the dedication is really showing. I think a lot of people underestimate the effort required alongside these meds. Well done on incorporating the gym!

    Hit 'normal' BMI...but is it?

It's just that higher BMIs are statistically correlated with higher risks of certain health issues. The societal part, feeling like you don't fit, is different. Congrats. Reached that goal at Christmas but am still counting calories and doing intermittent fasting daily. It's the diet after the...

    Hit 'normal' BMI...but is it?

It's wild that you're super fit and your BMI is still close to obese. Makes you question the whole thing. To be truly in the middle of the 'normal' range you'd have to be underweight. Anyway, congrats on the hard work!

    Sema, wine and emotional needs?

I agree with BG_Checker. For me, food turned into a new addiction. In about 90 days, it has changed my world. I'm down about 30 pounds, and it's like the heaviest load has lifted. I will probably be on this for the rest of my life as it was so hard for me every day, and I pay out of pocket. It...

    Sema update: Feeling good!

Remember that this is a marathon, not a sprint. Don't get discouraged if you don't see results immediately. Just keep at it, and celebrate the small victories along the way!

    Down 70! Feeling AMAZING!

How long have you been on it, and what dosage? I'm using IF until like, March or April next year. Then my doctor and I will talk again. He said my insurance wants to see changes to my lifestyle to okay it. Heard about a new drug supposedly better for weight loss (starts with a T) but unsure if...
