    Mounjaro wrecked me, Ozempic next?

Two years ago, I was in rough shape - high A1C, on a bunch of meds. Started at 244lbs. Now I'm down to 156, off everything except Mounjaro (switched from Ozempic a month ago because of a plateau). It's been life-changing. I can actually ride a bike with my kid now!

    Mounjaro wrecked me, Ozempic next?

Good luck! I've found that the second time around on sema can be easier because you already know what to expect. It's like your body remembers how to respond.

    GLP-1 maintenance - what's working?

I'm worried about going off completely... I saw a post where someone said they started at 247 pounds in October and now is 180 and satisfied! But they also said they need to stay on a maintenance dose because their A1C isn't low enough. That sounds like a good plan. Small dose of medication to...

    GLP-1 maintenance - what's working?

Following! I'm also figuring out maintenance. I've lost too much weight and want to regain a little. Should I stop injecting altogether or just use a very low dose? I'm also curious if NAD is contributing to weight loss.

    Tip your PT?

I did two sessions a week with my trainer, plus another workout or two solo. I only saw them for about 3 months. You should outgrow them and they teach you how to work out on your own. Then you can check in every few months. Or when you want to learn new skills/programming. I didn't like...

    Tip your PT?

It might depend on how you hired the trainer. If you pay through a gym, they might not be allowed to accept money. The gym might think they're training you on the side. If you pay them directly, a gift at Christmas would be nice.

    Tip your PT?

No way. They're like $90+/hr where I am!

Tirz, Cagri, Sema all at once?

Yep. I use little sticky notes on my calendar to keep track of my next dose because I can't remember dates to save my life. 😆

Tirz, Cagri, Sema all at once?

I had a similar issue, so I switched to dosing every 5 days instead of 7. Lots of people have had success with the 5-day schedule.

Down 20lbs in 2 months - feeling great!

I'm on week seven and have barely lost anything, maybe 2 lbs!. I'm working out with weights almost every day and still nothing is coming off. I had gastric sleeve surgery, so I can't eat a ton. I KNOW I'm not overeating! I'm feeling pretty discouraged! I've tried everything at this point.

Down 20lbs in 2 months - feeling great!

Did you have any weeks where the scale didn't budge at all? I'm about to take my third shot, and my weight loss has really slowed down.

    100 down! Anyone else?

Thanks all! The support is amazing. It's definitely been a rollercoaster. I am still dealing with heartburn even now. I take an antacid at bedtime usually and that keeps it at bay. I think it was about 4-5 weeks before I really saw the scale move. Before that, it was up and down. Stick with it!
