Is this weight loss too fast?

Just started week two of my Wegovy injections. Is it normal to see results this quickly? I've gone from 206 lbs to 199 lbs in the last two weeks. My body seems less inflamed, and I'm not craving sweets as much. I'm making sure to eat at least 80g of protein, lots of fiber, and plenty of water...

Can't seem to, ya know, GO! 😩

Once you get it under control, keep your water intake up and focus on fiber, not just protein. When my protein/fiber ratio is off, I have problems. I eat tons of cruciferous veggies and high-fiber fruits like apples, citrus, and berries. Fiber is your friend, not just protein. Balance is key.

Glycerin suppositories are a lifesaver, plus daily Miralax.

    Coming off GLP-1s - tips?

I saw a registered dietician (RD) who works with people on GLP-1s, and they told me that if you stop cold turkey and get super hungry, going into a big calorie deficit isn't the answer. It's a medical thing, not a willpower thing. Apparently your hunger signals come back really strong after...

    Coming off GLP-1s - tips?

Just count calories. I know it's annoying, but it's better than following trends like IF or keto. Use an app like My Fitness Pal and track what you eat and burn. Eventually, you'll get the hang of it and won't need to track so closely.

Oops! Maybe Went Too Hard on Reta...

Nikki_92, totally get that. I was doing both but then the sluggishness really killed my gym time. Hoping to get back to it once I get the dosage dialed in.

Oops! Maybe Went Too Hard on Reta...

I did the exact same thing! I was stoked that I finally got past my weight loss plateau on Tirzepatide, but I got super sluggish and achy, like, immediately. I was working out super consistently for a year, and then just stopped because I didn't have the energy or motivation. I'm gonna go back...

GLP-1 Med Prices: Bait & Switch?

Yeah, it's rough seeing those salaries. They have to publish them every year since they're a public company. It's all in their Proxy if you want to dig deeper. I used to do all the SEC filings, so I know where to find all the bad stuff. 🤣🤣🤣

GLP-1 Med Prices: Bait & Switch?

What gets me is that some execs are pulling in almost $30 million a year, including everything, while the people actually making these drugs are barely scraping by.

    Oral Wegovy Approved!

I wonder if this oral form will show up on the gray market soon? Orforglipron is already there, so some manufacturers can make pills. This is an easier start for needle-shy folks...for better or worse.

    Tirz first-timer q's - am I doing this rite?

Using Tesa myself for the first time soon. Hoping it might help with some fat loss, but what I'm really after is faster recovery and possibly better sleep. Should arrive any day now - I'm running a group test though so probably won't get to my own supply for a couple of weeks.

GLP-1 Med Prices: Bait & Switch?

Adding to Fit_Path's point, it's one thing to charge a lot for a drug for a rare disease to make back the costs. But with so many people who could benefit, if they're priced so high that people can't afford it and go without or use grey markets, then yeah, the margin is way too high. I'd be...

GLP-1 Med Prices: Bait & Switch?

Totally agree! It's always a teaser. Prices aren't really about how much it costs to make, it's about recouping R&D, which I get. But the markup is insane when they could be selling it to a huge chunk of the population.

    Ipam/Sermo Experiences?

I didn't try that LR3 yet, but I did the Ipa/CJC and low dose MK677 for injuries. The stuff that jacks up your GH isn't just 'like' GH, it IS GH. What do you need it for, anyway? The prob I had with Ipa/CJC is your insulin needs to be low for it to work, so when do you even take it? How much GH...

Haven't checked it out yet, how's the absorption? I think we're all hooked on pinning now, right?

    Ipam/Sermo Experiences?

What are you trying to get out of those peptides? I've used a lot over the years. I'll be 52 in June; I'm not on TRT; my natural T is at 740; my doc is confused, LOL I started with epitalon for 20 days at 5mg a day, then switched to mod gfr 1-29 and ipamoralin for 6 months at different doses...
