GLP meds could end up as first-line for addiction. Evidence isn't solid yet but studies show cuts in alcohol use and opioid ODs. Works in rodent models for more stuff. Need actual prospective trials rather than post-hoc analysis though.
Taking it for the diabetes not loss. That brand lowered blood sugar but made me ill three days weekly. This other one took weeks but works pretty well side stuff isn't as rough.
Interested in this. Doing 3.5 of one after three months 5 of another and get stomach acid 24 hours after every 3.5 dose. Going to 4 this week thinking about splitting 2 Thursday and 2 Sunday to see if the acid stops.
Some doctors really do overthink this. The company ran massive trials to nail down the dosing protocol. Might be time to find someone who trusts the science. Go back to point two-five and restart the schedule.
One mil finasteride daily with topical minoxidil has been really effective for me. Also tried microneedling but it gets uncomfortable sometimes. The thinning started because I was on TRT.
That's awesome progress, congrats on sticking with it. Fair point too - lots of people blame the med for stuff that's actually diet or lifestyle, so take the noise with a grain of salt.
Just hit a weight starting with 1 for the first time in decades. Beyond the number itself, I honestly feel better than I have in years. Feels good to celebrate with people who get it.
